Increase your winter wardrobe without spending a dime. Do you have an old sweatshirt you're no longer wearing? Well, here's a simple DIY fashion project to make something recycled, cool, and adorable with it. And, so very frugal, too!
ThreadBanger's Rob and Corinne head over to the Safe Studios in New York for a recon lesson from futuristic Brooklyn-based designer Rebecca Turbow. In less than an hour with only a handful of sewing tools, an old sweatshirt, fuseable interfacing, and a small amount of jersey knit, Rebecca shows how anyone (even those with only moderate sewing skills) can whip up a unique DIY sweater dress.
