Descoware 1-quart convertible set, yellow exterior with gray interior, in new-in-box, never-been-used condition. Very rare. The convertible concept was that the two pieces served three functions in the kitchen: skillet, sauce pot, and covered casserole (skillet fits as a lid over pot). The original Descoware label is still affixed to the bottom of the skillet. In the upper corner of the photo is the original packing box. The box states Descoware Convertible (1 QT) CON-1803-YELLOW. The label on the lid/skillet states this is 1-1/4 quart and a 6-1/2-inch skillet. It's remarkable to see a gorgeous, unused Descoware set like this with its original box. | Photo credit: southhavenmotel

Descorama series, 3-piece Markley butter melter. Pieces from the yellow, kitschy, farm animals/food items Markley series are popular and difficult to find. Even those with a few chips and scratches can be expensive because the demand is so great. I saw a Markley butter warmer very similar to this one sell for $68.00 on eBay recently.

Descoware 1-quart, two-piece, three-function convertible set (skillet, sauce pot, covered casserole), like the yellow set above, but in the popular flame-red color. This shows different views of the set. While obviously used, this convertible set is still in terrific condition. |

This large 3-quart flame beanpot with lid is in pristine condition, and sold for more than $100 on eBay. While not rare, they are difficult to find, because few people want to part with them. The photos show this beautiful beanpot from a number of angles and viewpoints.

This 9-inch yellow Descoware skillet with lid still has the original detachable wooden handle. The excellent condition of the handle is rare to find. |
Wow! This never-used (label still affixed) flame-red Descoware fondue set with all its accessories is extremely rare. This is the first and only time I've seen this set, and until I saw this series of photos, I wasn't aware that Descoware had ever made a fondue set. Its condition is absolutely pristine.

Some fascinating finds made by photographer robotika at the Brimfield Antique Fair in Massachusetts in 2011: A Foley food mill, a Descoware Belgian flame-red enameled cast iron sauce pan (with lid and wooden handle in excellent condition), beautiful Icelandic wool yarn, and some goat dairy cups. The handle for this Descoware sauce pan is detachable and is usually in weathered condition or missing. It appears to be in mint condition.
