It’s cringe-worthy that our “hope and change” government behaved like backwoods hicks in the treatment of Prime Minister Gordon Brown and his wife during their US visit–the cheap, last-minute gifts we, as a nation, gave them were like those generic “white elephant” gifts you toss around at an office party rather than those given to national dignitaries.

It’s also cringe-worthy that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made several embarrassing gaffes during her diplomatic meetings in Europe, especially with Russia’s Foreign Minister and that whole “recharged button” faux pas.

But that was last week. Our elected officials have learned from their mistakes. Things should be operating much smoother and more professionally now for Team Obama, right? Our gasping economy is now on the road to recovery, right?

Nope. And nope.

Inexplicably, our inexcusable British “snub saga” continues. Here is the most recent story from NewsBusters of how the Obama White House people are now not answering the phone when the British Cabinet Secretary calls concerning the upcoming G20 summit.

So typical that Katie Couric, Matt Lauer, Charlie Gibson, Tom Brokaw, Chris Matthews, Brian Williams, and other liberal media “journalists” have wholly neglected to report this latest UK diss (or any UK diss, for that matter). They were likely too engrossed perusing Rush Limbaugh’s latest talk show transcripts and ominously warning America that *gasp* a radio entertainer wants Obama to fail (once again, Rush said he wants Obama’s socialist agenda to fail, but why worry about details or reporting the news correctly, right, Katie?). I have never heard any of them defend former Pres. Bush, defend capitalism, or defend the core principles of Christians, of America, and of the US Constitution. They are not objective journalists, but propagandists—liberal propagandists who revel and delight in destroying a radio entertainer, but quickly turn a blind eye, again and again and again, when it really matters for the nation’s protection and choose to not report to the American public any of the grievous mistakes, broken promises, and socialist agenda of this White House administration.

Brits Officials Can’t Get Obama Folks on Phone, U.S. Media Not Picking Up Either

If the snub of British PM Gordon Brown at the hands of President Obama and his wife weren’t enough, now British Cabinet Secretary Sir Gus O’Donnell is saying that Downing Street is finding it “unbelievably difficult” to get hold of officials from Obama’s administration. British officials can’t seem to ever get past the administration’s answer machines as they call here to try and coordinate plans for the coming G20 summit.

In frustration, O’Donnell said that that when he tries to get in touch with key members of Obama’s Treasury Department, “there is nobody there.” The phones ring and nobody answers or they get messages and that is all. “You cannot believe how difficult it is,” O’Donnell told participants at a civil service conference.

While the Obama Administration ducks the Brit’s phone calls, the U.S. media also seems to be ignoring this story as they’ve widely ignored several of the stories that detail the new administration’s offhanded treatment of our closest ally.

When does this crud ever, ever, stop? These ongoing acts of disrespect are reviving meaning to the old term “Ugly American.” This Obama administration is inept, arrogant, and frightening. They spend taxpayers’ money like drunken sailors on shore leave.

In addition to their trillion-dollar fiscal recklessness, outrageous porkulus bills that will steal from our children’s financial futures, and growing violence at our nation’s ill-guarded borders, there are so many other atrocities under the guiding hand of the new administration: 9,000 pet projects/earmarks that won’t do much to stimulate our economy, a tanking stock market, tax-cheating Cabinet members, nightly lavish White House parties, private jets and military transport for personal trips for Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, the expensive socialization of health care when families are losing their homes and jobs in this crashing economy, the expansion of welfare programs to illegal aliens and people who just don’t want to work, taxation about to explode, we are now the nation of impudent buffoons in the eyes of our allies. Our national leaders are carelessly (or purposefully) damaging our decades-long relationship with our closest friend, Great Britain, and this is NOT acceptable. Not by a long shot. It’s definitely “tea party” time, kids.

As we declared in a previous post during one of the other snubs of Britain, America’s POTUS and his minions win, again, the “Keystone Kops/Klown Kollege” award. It’s grotesque. Crikey, where is the aspirin?

Our government: No hope. No change. No clue.
