So many adulatory utterances about our POTUS from the mainstream media and his adoring fans, it’s tough choosing “the best,” but I’ll do my darndest to be fair in selecting the most ingratiating. I’m up to the challenge.

Here’s my pick for blind sycophant quote for this week. It won because it annoyed me so much, considering the America bashing, king bowing, iPod giving, Constitution dismantling, and photo-op troop pimping Pres. Obama did this past week and a half on his “Magical Mystery Apology Tour”:

“The president’s genius so far has been in casting his program as a pragmatic response to current emergencies and longer-term threats. His calm, serious manner, magnified by his intelligence and command over the issues, reinforces the perception of a diligent public servant at work.”

Now Brewing: Pirates Capture US Ship

Somali pirates have now hijacked a U.S.-flagged ship with 20 American crew members on board – the first in “recent memory” according to military officials. The vessel is one of the DoD’s top shipping contractors.

What will BO do?

The ship was carrying emergency food relief to Mombasa, Kenya, when it was hijacked, the Copenhagen-based container shipping group A.P. Moller-Maersk said.

OK, POTUS Obama, start being a president NOW.

Americans are being threatened and you need to take care of business swiftly and with strength. The glam rock star bit is over and your real work as our Commander in Chief now needs to commence. No apologies, no Hallmark-card rhetoric… action.

Hold on, another UPDATE: All is not good as was previously presumed. News being released now states that one US crew member and the ship captain are still being held hostage by remaining pirates. Will keep an eye on developments… new post started on developments, click here.
