Janeane Garofalo: “Conservatives Stupid,” Poster Child for Statism, Racism, Bigotry, & Hate

If I didn’t love watching 24 and Kiefer Sutherland so much, and if the show was not nearing the end of its season, I’d boycott it.
Why?
Two iniquitous words: Janeane Garofalo.

D-list actress, Janeane Garofalo, poster child for statism, racism, bigotry, and hate
She has a minor, D-level role on the award-winning show this season. If her character were to be killed off, no loss. She contributes next to nothing to the plot line.
I suspect that she either is desperate for work (thus, taking on a TV role for 24 weeks that any actress trained in a few months community theater could tackle more convincingly) or she was told she was being given a plum plot-twist role of being one of the evil masterminds trying to destroy America with bio-harzardous bombs. Won’t know about that for a few weeks.
She can die anytime. Again, no loss. (To clarify, I’m not wishing Janeane “Statist-Racist-Hate Dragon Woman” Garofalo to die, just her television character, mousy little “Whatser-Name,” on 24) to die. Has she had any significant screen time with Jack Bauer? Don’t think so. Then, she’s sooo expendable. Whenever this bitter, hate-mongering woman comes on my TV screen on Monday nights, I have to bury my face in a pillow to keep from screaming profane language that would make a New Jersey sailor blush.
There was a time long ago that Garofalo had a sorta viable career in films (but, can you name two of her films?). She used to be funny.
Either because she is just as annoying and full of herself off camera as she is on camera in an interview, or because she keeps picking lame movies no one wants to see, her star has dimmed considerably. Now she fancies herself the Cerebral Mouthpiece of Liberal America. Or, just “the mouth,” as I like to call her. And, good grief, she sure does love the sound of her own voice.
We’re racists because we don’t like the socialist direction that Obama is taking our nation. If you disagree with anything the president says or does, Garofalo will call you a hateful racist and Homeland Security will call you a potential terrorist, a conservative rightwing extremist. And, you’re both a racist and extremist if you attended a tax protest tea party this week.
Excerpted from The Washington Times:
The actress went on to describe the brain size of typical “right-winger, Republican or conservative or your average white power activist.”
“Their synapses are misfiring. … It is a neurological problem we are dealing with,” she said. This isn’t the first time she’s offered this analysis, either. Ms. Garofalo said similar things about Alaskan GOP Governor Sarah Palin’s brain last February in an interview with an environmental blog.
Watch this hate-filled interview she had yesterday on MSNBC’s “Countdown” with Keith Olbermann… remember, she’s talking about you and me being racists based on our embracing of American liberties and protesting taxes and the direction of Washington at tea parties across the nation.
Summary of Janeane’s thoughts: If you went to a tax protest tea party, thought about going to a tea party, were at one in spirit, well… you suck:
Wow, what a class act you are.
Keep it up, Janeane (and this trip to the wood shed includes you, too, Keith Olbermann, because you agreed with her). Never did it occur to you that you have marginalized, with that arrogant, nasty mouth of yours, millions of people. Most of whom aren’t on welfare, who pay taxes, who are employed, who are of all shapes and sizes, colors and religions, and nationalities and party affiliations. Most of whom support the frivolous careers of entertainers like you by buying a ticket or an album. Average Americans who have REAL jobs, not like you, who gets paid actors’ scale for being a “putrid mouth” of rabid hate on a bottom-of-the-barrel joke of a news program with a man who is on the edge of sanity.
If you ever think you have a shot again at a vibrant, successful film career, you may be surprised that your films are headed straight to the WalMart bargain bin on DVD. After a time, you’ll be featured in a “Whatever Happened To…” TV special.
Because, you narcissistic statist moron, I choose what films I’ll spend my hard-earned cash to see, as do millions of other conservatives. And someone who has insulted my intelligence, my convictions, my patriotism, and has dared to call me a racist without having ever met me, doesn’t get a penny. You do remember that there is a recession, right? Less dollars to go around. Watch what hands you bite, because something else will, sooner than later, bite you back. On your statist fanny.
When will Clint Eastwood or Chuck Norris make another film? I’ll be there, instead, in a heartbeat. Ted Nugent, I’d see a film you’re in or go to a concert of yours any day. Not just because you’re conservatives, but because you don’t insult people you don’t know without provocation just because they don’t agree with the present president. And, I include Carrie Underwood and a host of others in entertainment who embrace similar conservative values and the Constitution and our American freedoms. Buy a ticket—absolutely.
But I’ll not pay the salary of a statist hate-mongerer, especially when that hate is directed at me and at my family. That repugnant little sniveling worm Garofalo… we’ve never met, and she hates me. Sounds like bigotry to me.
But, that’s OK. The road goes both ways. The difference is that I have been provoked and I have seen her in interviews. I am hard pressed to find any redeeming qualities in the woman. And she has called me a stupid racist. So, there aren’t any coffee-and-scones dates in the foreseeable future. And, should she ever read this post, which is doubtful, then and only then will she be justified in hating me.
She’s an ignorant, racist statist. And Olbermann is her piddly little minion lap dog of consensus, agreeing to lump all conservatives into a “we hate all non-white people” cauldron of 19th-century racism.
What a crock of lies… I don’t know anyone, conservative or liberal or progressive or independent, who hates having a black man in the White House. I’m sure some haters are out there, but not very many and none in my circle. What an unfounded, pinheaded, bigoted thing for Garofalo to say about me and my friends.
I hate, and everyone I know hates, having a socialist in the White House. And we’d feel that way if he were white. Or any other color. Or female. Or in a wheelchair. Or blind. As I’ve said countless times, I hate socialists who are trying to destroy the greatness of America, and I’m pretty fair about hating them all equally and without bias.
Quit playing the tiresome “racist card,” Janeane. Only Democrats and liberals are doing that, all in the name of “world peace” or when you have nothing else to grasp out of thin air. You keep gleefully picking at non-existent scabs, keep churning the poison. Keep the anger alive. Quit getting yer “hate on,” girl. It’s old and embarrassing.
You’d be stunned how much “stupid conservatives” know. Of whom, many attended high school and college and are not all “Christian-Euro-white” as you stupidly think, but Black, Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, Hispanic, Vietnamese, Russian, Indian, Eskimo, Cajun, Egyptian, Greek, and many other lineages and races. Most of us do indeed know what the Boston Tea Party in 1773 was about. The tea was merely a catalyst; it became symbolic and it was handy. The patriot rebellion was actually about no longer tolerating tyranny, standing up for and fighting for civil liberty, and protesting government oppression, whether it be in the form of taxation, suppression of free speech, or loss of the value of the individual. Like the protest tea parties held on tax day this week.
Is that really racism to you, Janeane? Because, to me, that sounds AMERICAN.

Oh, one last thing I noticed during her interview. Here’s a snippet of something unintentionally hilarious Garofalo said:
“Here’s what the right-wing has in, there’s no shortage of the natural resources of ignorance, apathy, hate, fear. As long as those things are in the collective conscious and unconscious, the Republicans will have some votes. FOX News will have some viewers.”
Wade past her onslaught of mindless bigotry and insults. Instead, read her last sentence again… FOX News will have some viewers. “Some” as in… beating the ratings pants off all the other news shows COMBINED. Yes, Janeane, if all desperate networks followed you and Keith down your smart-ass, myopic road of hate, they wouldn’t be going down that pathetically successful path of being the top news program on the air for April 15 like FOX News, right?

The woman is grotesque. All I could think of when watching the interview was the way small children argue when they are unable to confront an issue– they resort to name calling, because they aren’t yet able to think in a logical fashion. For example:
Sister says: It was wrong for you to copy someone else’s homework.
Little brother’s response: So what, you’re UGLY!
Because idiots like Janeane Garofalo can’t really dispute the fact that the government is racing towards socialism and spending preposterous amounts of money (which they don’t have), much of which is directed toward pet projects and has nothing to do with improving the economy; she takes the stance that conservatives are beneath her and incapable of rational thought. This is an easy escape from having to confront the real issues head on.
It’s also ironic that she lumps all Republicans into the stereotype of uneducated rednecks, yet wags her finger that they are the ones who are prejudiced! For Garofalo to reduce Obama, everything he has done and everything he stands for, to the color of his skin, says a great deal more about her own bigotry than what she is projecting onto conservatives.
There was a time (long ago) when being a liberal meant you were open to hearing other points of view. Sadly, that is no longer the case. Left wing fanatics like Janeane have become so rigid and narrow-minded in their views, that they consider anyone who disagrees with them mentally ill. She doesn’t deserve our contempt, but our pity.
Well said, Theresa. Bravo!

This is really a sad state for America to be in. Polorizing to say the least. It shows how deeply perverse and ethically challenged the media is with it’s bias to promote a liberal agenda that clearly seperates itself from a system of stable values and constitutional virtues. Likewise, Garofalo representing the entertainment industry, spews forth the exact same hatred, racism and vile arrogant stereotyping she is protesting against. (what’s the matter liberal has-been? looked in the mirror and didn’t like what you’ve seen).
Really penile humor from a national news anchor. Not once or twice but, numerous attempts to drag down the role of objective reporting into a blue-toned, weak-minded third grade playground rant with both pornographic imagery and homosexual overtones. How many people would get fired for such actions if they did that in the workplace, and yet the airwaves seem to be a pefectly acceptable outlet to voice such a verbal display. ( Agenda??? What Agenda???)
I guess it just goes to show that we are a nation of racial cowards. Well, some of us are really brave enough to seperate the skin-color from the political views and ambitions of a candidate. Others, such as those spoken of above, are truly too cowardly to progress from the dark ages of character-bashing, race-baiting and hate filled rants. Liberal I don’t think so. Sick—- absolutely.

No problem, Elvis.

Huh? She doesn’t even make any sense. I certainly know the history of the tea party. WHAT DOES a TAX PROTEST HAVE TO DO WITH RACISM? She’d be saying the same thing about Washington, Ben Franklin, etc. Dumb down? She’s a classic case of it. Boy, what’s wrong with her cerebral activity? She pretends to be an “intellectual” and is appealing to her own limbic brain as well as Keith Olbermann. She should know about pathology. They both need to see psychiatrists. Oh, and “immigrant” bashing? Here we go again. Deliberately confusing illegal aliens with immigrants. I wasn’t aware that legal immigrants had any problem. I’m no longer Democrat and I was never Republican, I’ve gone to a 3rd party system. I learned about the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations), the Skull/Bones Society, the bankers, The Trilateral Commission, etc and it is those groups and people who are responsible for us holding our noses and picking “the lesser of two evils” and that the Republic-Democrat situation is continued to use as a way to divide us and nothing more. Finally, speaking of hate, I can’t believe how hateful these two morons were toward the tea-bag protestors.
I stopped watching 24 because of Janeane. I will not support someone who hates me!
Also, I will not pay to Johnny Depp, Sean Penn, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Matt Damon, Charlize Theron or George Clooney.
