Earth Day & Air Force One: Obama’s ‘Carbon Footprint’ Grows Again While He Embraces Junk Science

Ah, the sweet scent of hypocrisy… President Obama flew out today on the lavish-fuel-guzzling, $30,000-an-hour-to-operate Air Force One to Iowa to make a speech about Earth Day.

To Earth Day... and to junk science
Don’t get me started ranting about the overwhelming evidence of “junk science” that is shoving “global warming” propaganda down our throats (which is spearheaded by the UN), despite myriad challenges lodged about the faulty and defecting information from scientific experts. Thousands of real experts, those who aren’t beholden to the White House, say it’s a sham.
Real science and reason have been abandoned to support the wobbly “climate ‘rip-off-the-lowly-citizens’ agenda.” Only the leaders of the “global warming, climate change whatever” poppycock will benefit financially, cramming millions of dollars into their own pockets while Americans have to spend more on retooled American-made cars and other massively expensive equipment, goods, and services to support this ludicrous “green” direction.
What arrogance of some people, to think we mere humans have the power to influence CLIMATE. Utter rubbish.
Important Questions: How does Obama’s Air Force One flight to Iowa help the environment? How does this trip save the taxpayers money? Is the president a “frequent fliers” junkie? And most importantly, will he be back in Washington, DC in time for the weekly White House Wednesday Night Party… Let’s everyone CONGA and eat expensive Japanese wagyu steak!
Inflate those tires, while you can still afford your car. Buy as many regular light bulbs as you can before Obama makes them illegal, or taxes them up the wazoo with some kind of new nanny state “moral responsibility climate protection blah blah blah” tax. They may even tax fat people or bronzed sun worshipers someday… I wouldn’t put it past anyone on the “save Mother Earth from scumbag humans” bandwagon.
Couldn’t POTUS find an Earth Day/environment event to attend that was a bit closer to home? I’m sure DC has plenty going on today. Every time that man and his WH entourage hop aboard Air Force One, his and their mythical “carbon footprints” grow to the size of Perez Hilton’s hate-mongering ego (*rim shot*). But I guess that’s not something the liberal enviro-zealots care about.
Nor, apparently, does the president. Nor does Al “Climate Change Shyster” Gore.
Leonardo DiCaprio might, though.
Hoax-crushing snippet from John T. Simpson at Big Hollywood, “Earth Day: Then They Came for the Overweight”:
Polls now show a wide swing in public perceptions of GW as being a real threat. 31,000 scientists signed a petition against GW last year, which may have affected public opinion. And the fact the earth is actually cooling isn’t helping the GW cause any. Neither is the fact that many GW proponents leave carbon footprints the size of Texas wherever they go. What, Me Worry?

You’ve hit one of my hot buttons.
On certain trips, Air Force 2 goes with him. Air Force 2 is identical to Air Force 1 inside and outside.
I figure Air Force 2 went with him on his recent overseas trip as a decoy, or a back-up in case no. 1 craps out.
There is a military transport aircraft that hauls his limos wherever he goes.
What,…you think he takes a taxi ?
Every trip he takes is an exorbitant use of resources, but that’s OK.
At least he had the pizza delivered, no pick-up, flown in from the mid-west, and the ingredients, and the cook, on a chartered plane, just because he liked that pizza while on the campaign trail.
After 100 days, don’t we see what we’re in for ?
I absolutely concur, AFVET. And don’t even get me started on Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s private jet. It’s all outrageous.
There’s a great piece this morning online on this very thing, with a “you’ve gotta be kidding” cost breakdown. I’ve inserted the link here and in the ‘related reading’ section:

In a effort to appear green the President flew on a smaller jet to New York for his date with Michelle. What about the motorcade? It also had to be flown to NY. I wonder what the cost and carbon footprint of that aircraft is?
