From Across the Pond: Why Does President Obama Hate America?

The term “pantywaist” isn’t used often in the United States. It’s an old term from the 1920s, referring to a child’s undergarment that was worn back then that consisted of short pants and a shirt that buttoned together at the waist. Per the dictionary, current usage of “pantywaist” is defined as a weak, effeminate man, a sissy, a weakling, a milksop, a namby-pamby, someone who is childish, fainthearted. Not a compliment by any stretch of the imagination.

And it’s a new nickname for Obama by journalists in Britain. President Pantywaist. Embarrassing, but intriguing.

Pres. Barack Obama and PM Gordon Brown

Pres. Barack Obama and PM Gordon Brown

I noticed that this term surfaced in Brit writings soon after the UK prime minister’s White House visit that concluded (following a number of bizarre snubs from our POTUS) with the regrettable gift gaffe of a DVD collection, and escalated during the G20 conference and his Magical Mystery Apology Tour. They still haven’t let up.

The United Kingdom has been our ally for decades, so I don’t know if flinging snide nicknames at our presidents, like school boys flinging water balloons, have been common in the past. Could be a fascinating research project…

The press across the pond is now evaluating our POTUS with startling, critical candor… something that our own mainstream media doesn’t do (if some have, it is always couched with “but, we need to help him succeed” or “he inherited this mess from George Bush”).

Nope. Quit blaming Bush. We are not obligated to give Obama a free pass for maligning our military, dissenters, and Christians, for spearheading attacks to marginalize radio talk show hosts, for apologizing to the world for America’s “arrogance” and ignoring its innovation, charity, and greatness, for turning a blind eye to the growing grassroots tea party movement. He gets no second chances for stupidly and capriciously releasing top secret CIA information to our enemies through out the world and then saying that some people involved with terrorist interrogations will be prosecuted, for flip-flopping on pork barrel spending and wanting to plunge the US into the greatest financial deficit in history, for hugging cruel dictators and bowing to a Saudi king, for umpteen broken campaign promises, for wanting to tax everyone to death while forcing American citizens into mandatory community service with his unicorns-and-lollipops ideas of socialist utopia.

The UK’s critique is right on the money about Obama.

Barack Obama and the CIA: Why does President Pantywaist hate America so badly?

If al-Qaeda, the Taliban and the rest of the Looney Tunes brigade want to kick America to death, they had better move in quickly and grab a piece of the action before Barack Obama finishes the job himself. Never in the history of the United States has a president worked so actively against the interests of his own people – not even Jimmy Carter.

Obama’s problem is that he does not know who the enemy is. To him, the enemy does not squat in caves in Waziristan, clutching automatic weapons and reciting the more militant verses from the Koran: instead, it sits around at tea parties in Kentucky quoting from the US Constitution. Obama is not at war with terrorists, but with his Republican fellow citizens. He has never abandoned the campaign trail.

That is why he opened Pandora’s Box by publishing the Justice Department’s legal opinions on waterboarding and other hardline interrogation techniques. He cynically subordinated the national interest to his partisan desire to embarrass the Republicans.

“Don’t be discouraged by what’s happened the last few weeks,” he told intelligence officers. Is he kidding? Thanks to him, al-Qaeda knows the private interrogation techniques available to the US intelligence agencies and can train its operatives to withstand them – or would do so, if they had not already been outlawed.

So, next time a senior al-Qaeda hood is captured, all the CIA can do is ask him nicely if he would care to reveal when a major population centre is due to be hit by a terror spectacular, or which American city is about to be irradiated by a dirty bomb. Your view of this situation will be dictated by one simple criterion: whether or not you watched the people jumping from the twin towers.

Obama promised his CIA audience that nobody would be prosecuted for past actions. That has already been contradicted by leftist groups with a revanchist ambition to put Republicans, headed if possible by Condoleezza Rice, in the dock. Talk about playing party politics with national security. Martin Scheinin, the United Nations special investigator for human rights, claims that senior figures, including former vice president Dick Cheney, could face prosecution overseas. Ponder that – once you have got over the difficulty of locating the United Nations and human rights within the same dimension.

President Pantywaist Obama should have thought twice before sitting down to play poker with Dick Cheney. The former vice president believes documents have been selectively published and that releasing more will prove how effective the interrogation techniques were. Under Dubya’s administration, there was no further atrocity on American soil after 9/11.

President Pantywaist’s recent world tour, cosying up to all the bad guys, excited the ambitions of America’s enemies. Here, they realised, is a sucker they can really take to the cleaners. His only enemies are fellow Americans. Which prompts the question: why does President Pantywaist hate America so badly?

Snippet from Rush Limbaugh’s EIB radio show, April 22, “Obama’s Finals Week: The World Laughs at His 100 Days of Failure”:

RUSH: We’re coming up on this mythical 100 days of the Obama administration. I’d like to refer to it, my friends, as “finals week,” and I put together a list of things that I have noted since the outset of this administration. Just today, I think you’d have to say Obama’s failing, because Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has just ripped him a new one; and his buddy, Fidel Castro, just called him superficial. I mean, now, this cannot be good. The next thing you know, Hugo Chavez will come out with some criticism here. After all of these worldwide tours to get all of these dictators and thugs on our side, they are being highly critical of the Bamster.

…Fidel Castro on a blog, no less, said that Obama “misinterpreted remarks by his brother and successor Raul and bristled at the suggestion that Cuba should free political prisoners or cut taxes on remittances from abroad as a goodwill gesture to the United States.” All of this enraged Castro, who wrote in an essay posted on a government website that Obama, without a doubt, misinterpreted Raul’s declarations. “Castro appeared to be throwing a dose of cold water on growing expectations for improved bilateral relations — suggesting Obama had no right to dare suggest that Cuba make even small concessions. He also seemed to suggest too much was being made of Raul’s comments about discussing ‘everything’ with US authorities.”

    Great post.

    It’s gonna be a long 4 years.

We have another say in 2010, but I fear that much damage has been done already.
