Joe’s Baaaaack… VP Biden: ‘Avoid Public Transportation & Classrooms’ during Swine Flu Outbreak, POTUS: ‘Wash Hands, but Keep Borders Open’

Vice President Joe Biden, out of the bunker again
We’ve all missed you, because we really wanted to hear your take on the NYC flyover and see you coming to the rescue for Napolitano’s ongoing missteps (“No one messes with Joe!”).
But, happily, you’re back just in time for commenting on the swine flu epidemic and offering your always-unique brand of advice. And hey, must say, you have some great ideas. Avoid planes (unless it’s a private jet), subways, and anywhere else that many people gather. Hmmm… would that have included Obama’s townhall meeting yesterday? Uh, oh, could be trouble there. Didn’t you give POTUS the “Uncle Joe warning” about avoiding large groups of people in confined places?
Straight from Joe Biden’s mouth, on NBC’s Today Show:
“So, from my perspective, what it relates to is mitigation. If you’re out in the middle of a field when someone sneezes, that’s one thing. If you’re in a closed aircraft or closed container or closed car or closed classroom, it’s a different thing.”
Obama didn’t say any of that to the American people. He says we just need to wash our hands more… why didn’t you bring that up, Joe? Good thing the president thinks it’s important to announce, since all Americans are 4-year-old dolts.
NOT!
Believe me, any adult who doesn’t wash his or her hands after doing “you know what” also doesn’t read swine flu advice on the Internet, doesn’t watch the news, and many don’t even KNOW who Joe Biden is (Sean Hannity’s “Man on the Street” radio segment, really sad: “Joe Biden? Uh, never heard of him.”)
But when it comes to our US borders, heck, they’ll remain open… let’s everyone CONGA!

Right after this statement to the press, the White House quickly arranged for Biden to make this statement through a spokesperson.
In retaliation, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg jumped on a subway train soon after Biden’s statements to diminish NYC panic by showing that the subway’s safe. Way to go, Mike! Taking a bullet for the team!
Rats, it’s back to the bunker for Joe…

In addition to the above comment, is it any wonder these people strive so hard to be re-elected ?
They could never make it in the private sector.
Deep in my heart of hearts…I suspect Joe Biden is right. I hope this will not prove true. I have the uncomfortable feeling..that as far as the rest of the Obama administration…they are following the “party line”…and care more about the commercial aspects (loss of $$$$) as the results of the flu..than a few hundred or a few thousands (or more) persons dying…as long as they are not any of their children or parents or husbands or wives. Well, I guess I have the feeling that ….once again…we are being lied to..and not by Biden.
This has also crossed my mind, Barb. As easy as it is to laugh at Joe Biden, he may be talking sense now. My husband and I were discussing this very thing last night. I hope you and I are both wrong… but it may prove otherwise.
