Where’s Biden? Obama Goofs Up on Cinco de Mayo

Rahm Emanuel must still have VP Joe “Walking Gaffe Machine” Biden under lock and key from his embarrassing “avoid subways and other public transportation and confined rooms, like school classrooms” swine flu comment from last week. So, in the spirit of this administration’s obligatory weekly blunder, Pres. Barack Obama took the bullet.
Seemingly a bit stressed, he joked that it was ‘Cinco de Cuatro,’ botching a play on the Spanish word for ‘four’ when he meant to say ‘Cuatro de Mayo’ or the Fourth of May. He instead said ‘Five of Four,’ or maybe ‘Fifth of Fourth,’ whatever in the heck either of those mean.
This POTUS goof happened during an event at the White House on the eve of the Mexican holiday. Pretty funny stuff (but, would the press or Janeane Garofalo have screamed “racist” if George W. Bush had committed the same silly, lingually challenged mistake? What about Sarah Palin? I know, I know, I’m being testy.)
Obama isn’t nearly as funny in his deliveries of gaffes as Biden is, so maybe next time the White House has a great gaffe-in-the-making, they could let Biden out of his padded cell and let him run amuck. We need a few laughs these days. Hey, you don’t mess with Joe, right?
(Remember, he’s just a heartbeat away from the presidency… wince.)

This has got to be the most illustrative example of the condescending attitude this president has for the intelligence of the American People I have ever seen.

Too funny… I’m listening to Rush right now, too, while eating lunch. LOL – and I also heard the Arlington burger joint reference.
He’s starting to disillusion many… that NYC flyover really took a toll on his liberal supporters in the Big Apple.
There are rumors of a Constitutional Convention in the works.
With this congress and administration, the 1st,2nd, and 22nd amendment IMO are under siege.
