Statists, Left-wing Extremists: If They Ignore the Cries of Cubans, It’s Easy to Shut Their Eyes to the Evils of Socialism

If socialism is so gosh-darn fantastic, why don’t the statists who want America to embrace it ever challenge anyone who hates socialism and is currently LIVING it in another country, like Cuba?

How many tiresome Bush or Cheney bashings are still being pounded out on American-statist-blogger keyboards each week? Yet, when these left-wing bloggers are faced with the reality of lost freedoms and deplorable human rights, when faced with the real evil out there and not something they’ve concocted against conservatives, liberal bloggers have nothing of factual substance *gulp* to say in socialism’s defense.

Can they name just one country that has been successful under a socialist regime? Just one?

No, they can’t.

Whiny-butt cowards, the lot of them.

Rather than pick a fight with someone living in a socialist country, they scurry away or ignore it altogether. They know that they would lose the argument because they choose to wrap themselves in the fantasy and ignore the ugly facts about socialism. Maybe I’ll write another Sarah Palin or Rush Limbaugh basher, easy stuff… Yeah, that’s what a whiny-butt coward would do. It’s much easier and WAY more important to mindlessly attack conservatives than facing the reality of the horrific, murderous tyranny Cubans have been living with for decades under dictator Fidel Castro and his socialist regime. And it’s the very same fate that will befall America if Obama’s socialist agenda isn’t stopped.

Sadly, so many left-wingers think, “Socialism is so cool because then we’ll all live equally and in total harmony. There will be no hate, no hunger, no unhappiness. We’ll share everything. Obama knows what’s best for us. He wants us all to be taken care of by the government, because they’re much smarter than we are. The world will be a better place if America stops being so selfish and oppressive.”

Wrong, wrong, wrong. These fools, most particularly the Congressional Black Caucus Democrats, have NO idea what real oppression is. Quit being whiny-butt liberals and face the hard, cold facts. Ignorance is dangerous bliss. There are no unicorns or fairies or rainbows in a socialist nation.

socialism_by_miniamericanflags-smallHappiness and equality has never been achieved in any socialist environment. Socialism is the big, arrogant lie that never delivers. Socialism is the great social experiment that keeps on failing.

And in its failure, it gives government too much power to control citizens’ lives and the people too little voice and too little freedom. It destroys people, their incentive, and their dreams. It destroys the pursuit of happiness. It destroys competition and innovation and the country’s economy. It destroys our basic human nature to try harder, to reach further. It mandates religion, oppresses freedom of faith. We’re already seeing the strangulation of socialism with each new mandate or regulation set forth by the Obama administration. More money and power for the government, less of everything for the people. More taxes. More and more and more taxes. And then some more taxes.

Just ask Britain how that’s been going for them. Or Sweden. Or Canada. Or Venezuela. Or Mexico. America is the last great hope for so many people.

Communication is also controlled by Castro and his minions. Newspapers, radio, television… and the Internet. The same kind of control that Obama is jockeying for even as I type.

Here’s an eye-opening article at NewsBusters: Cuban Blogger Denied Internet Access; Huffington Post Yawns. An excerpt (you also need to watch the video that is embedded on the NewsBusters site):

Yes, foreigners are permitted to go on the Web but this “privilege” is denied to Cuban nationals in a bizarre form of Communist apartheid.

The reaction to this outrage from Huffington Post readers? None as of this writing except for one very funny yet incredibly sad comment which reflects perfectly the bizarre state of leftwing mentality.

One of the best, most articulate blogs I’ve found about Cuba is Babalú Blog, an island on the net without a bearded dictator. It’s an informative, courageous blog that I encourage all American patriots to explore.

Would any statist blogger actually attack a Cuban citizen for despising socialism? Probably not… too tricky. Better for statists to just ignore them and maybe they’ll stop grousing and go away.

Black Caucus Democrats, like Rep. Laura Richardson (D-California), with her deadbeat, defaulting housing background (per Malkin: Richardson has “defaulted six times on her home loans and has left a trail of unpaid bills in her wake”), visited Cuba with other Democrats last month. Richardson moronically, blissfully sang Castro’s praises and said in a press conference that Cuba is beautiful and the people there are happy and DO have shoes and DO have ice cream. So there.

Holy cow. I sure DO hope they have shoes, Laura. Equating someone’s happiness with having a pair of friggin’ shoes? Are you serious? And having ice cream? How insulting, how elitist is that? People in California ELECTED you to office? The opposing Republican must have been a triple moron, because you’re a sycophant idiot. How many unicorns are you hoping for when America becomes a socialist nation?

What they don’t have in Cuba, Laura, you ignorant nitwit, what is even MORE important than shoes and ice cream, is freedom.

Socialist countries DON’T have much freedom, or were you too busy drooling over an aging dictator like he was a rock star to pay much attention to that? Castro has bled the country dry. It used to be prosperous, it used to have freedoms. Not anymore. Castro nationalized everything, took zillions of dollars from the people, and most have been destitute and without hope for years (those who aren’t part of the government, anyway). The government is ruthless and authoritarian. Why do you think so many Cubans try to escape by coming to America, Laura? Because they want more ice cream?

We’re headed straight to socialism, and it’s an ugly, bleak place to be. America is on the line. There is still time to fight socialism, but we all need to know what we’re up against so that we can fight effectively and confidently. Knowledge is power, silence is acceptance.

Excellent article on ignorant, left-wing celebrities endorsing doomed, unsustainable “eco-green” power sources for use in poor countries; also eye-opening for Bono that it’s that evil capitalism, not huggy-happy socialism, that works when paying people to run his company or paying the bills: Phelim McAleer & Ann McElhinney, Big Hollywood: Bono Discovers Sustainable Development Isn’t Sustainable

We can do it… I still have faith in the intelligence of most of the people in America. And I have faith in the millions of patriots who love this country for so many things, including all the freedoms for which America stands. Socialism is not part of that equation.

If you’re still unsure about what socialism is, read these posts about Cuba and socialism to better arm yourself with knowledge; be sure to check out the links from Cuban bloggers that are at the bottom of each post. God bless America… and let freedom ring!
