Vice President Joe Biden, blabbing again... but this time, it's serious

Pres. Barack Obama, against all the wisdom at his disposal, decided to “follow his gut” to announce to the entire world our CIA interrogation technique secrets. Because of POTUS, these are no longer secrets. Oops.

Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House, has blabbed to the world anything that crosses her peanut-sized brain about national security and waterboarding and how she wants to see former Pres. George W. Bush fry in the underworld. Dick Cheney, too. Because of her, these are no longer secrets. Oops.

And now, Vice President Joe Biden, whom we’ve already established is the White House’s daffy gaffe-machine crackpot, has been blabbing about the secrecy of where former vice president Dick Cheney lives. Because of him, this is no longer a secret. Oops.

Joe’s wacky antics and reliable gaffes are like chocolate candy bars for the handful of conservative comedians out there (Joe’s a virtual gold mine of comic material and only a few comedians are grabbing for the nuggets… liberal comics are still stuck in November 2008, thinking the Obama administration is “too perfect” to crack any jokes about) and myriad conservative bloggers. But now, Joe’s run-amuck big mouth isn’t funny. It’s dangerous. He’s demonstrated no professionalism, no decorum, no restraint when talking to the press. I don’t trust him with our nation’s most important secrets.

Just a heartbeat away from the presidency. How many times did liberals fling that phrase out to malign and assail Gov. Sarah Palin? Frankly, I’d stake my life on her daughters Bristol, Piper, or Willow Palin keeping national secrets better than “Crazy Joe” Biden. These girls are made of strong, honorable stuff. I would never trust my life to Joe.

I trust the Palin daughters to keep any national security secret better than VP Joe Biden.

What’s next, Joe? What in the heck is next on the “spill the beans, oops” list? Accidentally letting it slip about the secret mission of Navy SEALS to a reporter at the Fresno Bee? Divulging Air Force One’s flight schedule to a Chicago news station? Giving missile launch codes to the chairperson of an azalea festival in Wilmington, North Carolina? Taliban and al-Quaeda, I’m sure, get positively tingly whenever they see that you’re in the headlines with yet another “slip of the tongue.” I bet they’re also listening for the latest installment of “The Joe ‘Blabbermouth’ Biden Show.”

Gotta remember to gird our loins…

From Fox News: Biden Reveals Location of Secret VP Bunker

Vice President Joe Biden, well-known for his verbal gaffes, may have finally outdone himself, divulging potentially classified information meant to save the life of a sitting vice president.

According to a report, while recently attending the Gridiron Club dinner in Washington, an annual event where powerful politicians and media elite get a chance to cozy up to one another, Biden told his dinnermates about the existence of a secret bunker under the old U.S. Naval Observatory, which is now the home of the vice president.

The bunker is believed to be the secure, undisclosed location former Vice President Dick Cheney remained under protection in secret after the 9/11 attacks.

Eleanor Clift, Newsweek magazine’s Washington contributing editor, said Biden revealed the location while filling in for President Obama at the dinner, who, along with Grover Cleveland, is the only president to skip the gathering.

According to Clift’s report on the Newsweek blog, Biden “said a young naval officer giving him a tour of the residence showed him the hideaway, which is behind a massive steel door secured by an elaborate lock with a narrow connecting hallway lined with shelves filled with communications equipment.”

Clift continued: “The officer explained that when Cheney was in lock down, this was where his most trusted aides were stationed, an image that Biden conveyed in a way that suggested we shouldn’t be surprised that the policies that emerged were off the wall.”

Do these people not understand that this isn’t a game? They are gambling with people’s lives with their inability to separate themselves and their egos from the needs of the nation. Dick Cheney is a patriotic genius when standing next to the blathering Joe Biden.
