Rush Limbaugh, upholder of the US Constitution, freedom, and capitalism

Below is the transcript from yesterday’s Rush Limbaugh’s EIB radio program. The transcript includes the audacious “doom and gloom” warning from Secretary of the Treasury Tim Geithner, the man who didn’t pay his income taxes for who knows how many years, telling Americans that the recession is not the Democrats’ fault, not the Republicans’ fault, not the housing industry’s fault, not ACORN’s fault, not Pres. Obama’s fault… it is YOUR fault.

Those trillion-dollar bailouts and operating budgets and expensive welfare programs launched by Pres. Obama and approved by Congress? YOUR FAULT. The state of California going belly up because of all its reckless overspending, including the expensive support of millions of illegal immigrants? YOUR FAULT. New York City’s financial meltdown? YOUR FAULT. Homeowners in foreclosure in homes they could never afford? YOUR FAULT. The spendthrift porkulus bills and increased taxes approved by Congress that thousands upon thousands of angry Americans protested against by attending tea parties across the country? Yep, even if you didn’t want it, wrote, faxed, or called your congressman, attended a tax protest, that’s your fault, too.

Be ready to suck it up, America. It’s gonna get worse.

Despite the belt-tightening millions of Americans have done for months, Geithner says we are expected to do more of it in the years ahead.

This is so irresponsibly audacious and untrue. Geithner should be sent to his room without any supper for a week for telling such falsehoods. He’s just one of the lapdogs of the Obama administration and once again, must divert attention from POTUS and his carefully unfolding socialist agenda… socialism is never satisfied because its utopia is unattainable. This is only a small fraction of the crap we’ll be forced to pay for in the decades to come. Call your congressman to decry this… this blame on taxpayers for what our government has done cannot be condoned nor continued, these crippling taxes for Obama’s wild overspending must end. The only leverage American taxpayers have are the 2010 elections… use that over and over and over again.

This Rush Limbaugh transcript will be available on Limbaugh’s website for the next few weeks for everyone to read, and is available indefinitely to members of Rush Limbaugh’s 24/7 Club.

Geithner: It’s Your Fault, USA

RUSH: Gotta listen to this sound bite, folks. This is our old buddy, the diminutive egghead Treasury secretary Timothy Geithner, in Washington this afternoon at the National Press Club, being interviewed by the editor of Newsweek, Jon Meacham.

Here’s the question for Timothy Geithner from Jon Meacham, “You have two children. The deficit over the next ten years is expected to hit $11 trillion. How do you feel about saddling your kids with that debt?”

GEITHNER: We face again this deep recession, damaged financial system. And our immediate imperative still is to get growth back on track. That requires us to do things that are expensive, that cost money, in the short term will raise deficits. At the same time we do that, we have to commit to Americans, to investors around the world that we’re going to be able to get back to living within our own means when the crisis passed and when the recovery is established, we’re going to have to get back to living within our means. And that’s going to require demonstrating to people we’re willing to stop doing things they’ve been doing, give up things that we don’t want to give up, and that will be a challenge.

RUSH: Whoa wait a second, who’s he talking about here? Because I know damn well he’s not talking about the government giving up things. He’s talking about you and me and apparently his own kids. So it’s our fault. All of this is our fault. The reason we’re in a recession is our fault and the government, to save us, has to spend all this debt, all this money.

And once this crisis is over, we’re going to have to get back to living within our means and that’s going to require demonstrating to people willing to stop doing things we’ve been doing, give up things that we don’t want to give up, and that will be a challenge. What’s going to be the challenge? They’re going to make us. They’re going to make us give up these things.

So there’s your future, from the Treasury secretary of the Obama administration.

You caused this, you gave us this recession, your irresponsibility, your desire, you wanted too much. You haven’t given enough back. Now, when we get out of this recession you’re going to have to give up a lot of things. We’re going to have to return to a more austere lifestyle.

I don’t want my tax money funding ACORN, Mr. Geithner. Or welfare programs for illegal aliens. Or socialized health care. Or bailouts for liberal newspapers or anything else about to file for bankruptcy. I’ve pulled in my belt plenty. So has my family. It’s time for Washington to do the same.

Please send my bailout refund ASAP.

    2010…we vote again.

Rush is right, Timmy is out of his environment, meaning now he has to go in front of congress, and the media, and spout the crap he has been told to say in front of the VOTERS.

    America is awakening, and learning.

The American Spirit will come back in 2010, just watch us!
