I’m a conservative Republican and I supported Adam all the way from early on in AI (as did my wife, another conservative Republican.) Contrary to the understanding of most liberals based on the blogs I read, conservatives and Republicans are not just mindless robots who have no ability to think for themselves. Most of us know that Adam is probably a liberal, probably gay and probably a little bit different than “normal”, but there are many of us who are conservative and/or Republican who simply love his music style and his voice! It is a singing competition after all – not a political debate.

Vote for YOUR favorite..is not vote for the best singer.
How many times has it been said that it was about the votes. Why is it about the votes? Because one revenue for American Idol is from “texting”.
It’s about the fan base..not about the singer.
So, it isn’t a singing contest. If it were Alexis Grace would be touring with them right now.
Everyone of those who made it to air time are greatful for the exposure just like the players on a college team like a national game on T.V.
The best horse still needs the jockey to win. Consider the voters ..the jockey.

I heard today that it was about 1 million more for Kris. The total number of votes cast was just shy of 100 million, so that is a difference of a mere 1 percent. Very close race.

True music connoisseurs hope that the most talented contestant wins. The show is watched worldwide * and when America picked the person with less talent * it showed the world what a truly biased, prejudice country we are. (Well the choice there was either biased or tone deaf) This show is watched worldwide * and it truly disapointed millions. It made me not want to watch the show ever again. The voting is ridiculous * I wanted to vote 1 time * didn’t know people were setting up voting stations in Arkansas and via the Internet and voting thousands of times. It made a mockery of all the show supposedly stands for. I’m curious on Britains Got Talent, Susan Boyle (the 47 year old) has that legendary voice * I truly believe England will vote for talent in their competition. Quite possibly American Idol needs to change the name to “Americas Got Talent” so we get it
