When VP Joe Biden steps in from of a microphone, he lets his mouth go wild and his brain shut down (his latest gaffe in the media was divulging the location of former VP Dick Cheney’s secret bunker). Like clockwork, he’s then scuttled away and whisked overseas to keep him out of the embarrassing limelight and out of Obama’s graying hair.
“Crazy Joe” was in Serbia this week on yet another overseas diplomat mission.
Summary from “Russia Today,” May 20, 2009:
Nationalist parties claim that Biden was the chief advocate of the NATO bombing of Kosovo in 1999 and that he has been very belligerent in the past about Serbs and Serbia. According to historian and journalist Nebojsa Malic, Joe Biden is an odd choice of person to send on a diplomatic mission to Serbia. The very fact that Biden has been chosen to make the trip to the Balkans is a message in and of itself. Malic said that Biden’s given “unfortunate statements in the past that he hasn’t recanted.”
