I’ve written about the nonstop attacks and increasingly frivolous lawsuits lodged against Gov. Sarah Palin before, and finally, the state of Alaska is taking some notice of the outrageous costs of these capricious, partisan lawsuits. When will Alaskan citizens take a REAL stand against this abuse and tyranny? When will someone in Hollywood, besides Angie Harmon, stand shoulder to shoulder with Sarah Palin? Enough is enough.
Why Sarah Palin Drives Female Liberals Crazy
The laws of Alaska may want to be revisited and revised to prevent this type of egregious abuse, not to mention the wasted amount of time they demand of Palin, keeping her from her duties as governor.

JUNEAU, Alaska, May 28 (UPI)
The ethics complaints filed against Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin are running a tab of nearly “a third of a million dollars,” the state’s personnel board said.
“We’ve spent pretty close to about a third of a million dollars, and it’s getting to be really expensive,” Alaska Personnel Board member Al Tamagni told the Anchorage Daily News.
The board, during its meeting Wednesday, was trying to see whether they publicize the cost of addressing the complaints without violating confidentiality rules, the newspaper reported Thursday.
The panel also dismissed a complaint against Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee in 2008, and her political action committee.
The governor’s office said it was the 13th ethics complaint against Palin or her staff that was resolved without finding an executive ethics act violation. Palin has agreed to reimburse the state for 10 state-paid trips taken by her children.
Andree McLeod, an Anchorage activist who filed several ethics complaints against Palin and her staff, told the newspaper the board was trying to mute accountability by citing high costs…
Conservatives4Palin have been keeping track of McLeod’s obsessive lawsuits, and have a number of posts on their blog about them. Apparently, McLeod was denied a government position a while back and this is her retaliation. Palin has legal defense fund:
Supporters of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin have started a legal defense fund to pay her expenses fighting allegations of ethics violations.
Kristan Cole, one of the founders, described The Alaska Fund Trust as “one of the most restrictive and transparent legal funds in history.”
“I joined with fellow Alaskans in forming the Alaska Fund Trust to help alleviate the Governor’s legal debt incurred while performing her job as well as eliminate the incentive for future attacks by her opponents,” Cole said in a statement on the trust Web site.
