Obama Quick to Decry Abortionist’s Murder… Why Is He Still Mute on Soldier’s Murder by Black Muslim Terrorist?

Pres. Obama, where is the outcry in Pvt. Long's murder by a black Muslim terrorist?
On Sunday, abortion doctor George Tillman was murdered in his church in Kansas. The liberal bloggers went crazy, which is unusual on a Sunday—most are nursing hangovers from Saturday night partying or are off to the lake to water ski. Pres. Obama denounced the act within a few hours of the murder—again, pretty quick on a weekend. Conservatives also denounced the murder of Dr. Tillman, although not as rabidly as the liberals did. I was impressed that our president wasn’t golfing or copping a “hey, it’s the weekend, dude” attitude. Decrying the murder of Dr. Tillman was the right thing for everyone to do, as would the decrying of any murder, high profile or not. Many folks in the mainstream media screamed that it wasn’t a simple murder, it was a hate-crime terrorist act committed by a Christian. Leftists seem to glean great pleasure in using negative superlatives whenever possible.
So… judge and jury in the left-wing realm, swarming like angry horse flies on a Sunday afternoon, and the president made his own announcement. Obama had spent an expensive night (for taxpayers, not for himself) on the town with Michelle in New York City the night before. Crazy-fast response. Good for you, Mr. President.
And then… there’s now.
I’ve held off writing this particular post, hoping against hope that I wouldn’t have to, that our president was just running a bit tardy on addressing the murder of Pvt. William Long. That my suspicions about Barack Obama have been wrong all along. That he genuinely cares about America and its military. Not with a rehearsed phony speech posted on a teleprompter, or the text found in an inspiring Hallmark greeting card, but with ACTIONS. True grit actions, not crappola-narcissistic, “are the media cameras rolling?” actions.

I can wait no longer to post this, Mr. President. Time’s up. You have let down your country and your military.
Here it is, Tuesday afternoon, more than 24 hours after a young soldier was killed in cold blood outside a military recruitment center in Arkansas by a converted Muslim. There is still no denouncement except from conservatives. Not from liberal bloggers, not from Pres. Barack Obama. The man arrested for killing William Long is black. Is that why there is no denouncement from the president, the press, or our government? Geez, I hope I’m wrong that the skin color of the accused murderer would matter to liberals in this heinous crime. I’m not race-baiting, I’m merely observing the actions of our president and the press on Sunday, Monday, and today.
Silence from the White House. Deafening silence.
Mr. President, you’re showing America your true character by your silence.
Please, please, please — I don’t want this young man, who had volunteered to give his life to America and did indeed do that yesterday, at the hands of a radical left-wing Muslim extremist, to die without even an acknowledgment. Don’t ignore him. He’s not collateral damage in your damned political arena.
Why is the press coverage of you speaking against the murder of an American soldier on US soil less important to you than the press coverage of you speaking against the murder of a controversial abortionist? You are the nation’s Commander in Chief. Start acting like it.
His name was Pvt. William Long, Mr. President. He was 23 years old. Have you called a press conference yet? Called his parents yet? Talked with the surviving solider, Quinton Ezeagwula? Or was your EMPATHY all used up on Dr. Tillman?
And Huffington Post and Daily Kos… no outcry, either? No bashing, no anger, no denouncement against this young man’s murderer? It, too, seems to have been of a religious motivation. But is that outrage only used for Christians? A Muslim terrorist committing a religious murder on American soil is okey-dokey with you? Just want to be sure I have it straight.
Your energy to speak out against Dr. Tillman’s murder, likely committed by a Christian, was all focused and consequently used up on Sunday. Yes, that much out-of-control energy would tire anyone. But by now, you should be rested enough to type a few sentences, compared to the thousands of accusatory words you and all other liberal writers typed frantically all day Sunday. An abortionist’s murder is reprehensible and vile and worthy of countless posts of online outrage, but an enlisted soldier’s murder committed by a black Muslim terrorist is… is what?
Please, don’t make me even think I know how you’ll answer that… don’t prove to me that you are the gutter rats I sense you are.
The blatant hypocrisy of our president, of Congress, and of the liberal press is feeding an outcry of its own at the grassroots level… we didn’t start the fire, but be prepared.
William Long, may you rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. May God guide them through this incredibly difficult time of grief. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Long, for the service your brave son willingly gave to his country, and whose life was prematurely snuffed out in this senseless, tragic act of terrorism.

Suspect pleads not guilty in soldier’s death
By NOAH TRISTER – June 2, 2009LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — A Muslim convert who already was under federal investigation pleaded not guilty Tuesday in what police called a likely “political and religious” attack that killed a young soldier at a military recruiting center.
Abdulhakim Muhammad, 23, of Little Rock, was charged in Monday’s death of Pvt. William Long, 23, of Conway outside an Army-Navy Career Center in a west Little Rock shopping center. He pleaded not guilty to a capital murder charge and was ordered held without bail.
A prosecutor said Muhammad admitted shooting Long and another soldier “because of what they had done to Muslims in the past.”
An FBI-led joint terrorism task force based in the southern United States has been investigating Muhammad since he returned to the United States from Yemen, a law enforcement official said. The suspect had been arrested and jailed in Yemen at some point for using a Somali passport, the official said. The time of that arrest was not immediately clear.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, was not authorized to discuss the investigation. An FBI spokesman in Little Rock did not immediately respond to a call seeking comment.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Pat Harris said no decision has been made on whether to pursue federal charges against Muhammad. “We’re consulting with a lot of people on what, if any, charges can be filed against him,” Harris said. Both Arkansas and federal court systems permit executions for capital crimes.
Long and Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula, 18, of Jacksonville, Ark., had recently completed basic training and had never seen combat. Ezeagwula was hospitalized in stable condition.
Police Chief Stuart Thomas said Muhammad, previously known as Carlos Bledsoe, was a convert to Islam and was not part of any broader scheme to attack the American military.
Interviews with police show he “probably had political and religious motives for the attack,” the chief said.
“We believe that it’s associated with his disagreement over the military operations,” Thomas said. Police Sgt. Cassandra Davis said Tuesday it wasn’t known when Muhammad began planning the attack.
Deputy Prosecutor Scott Duncan said Muhammad told investigators that “he would have killed more soldiers had they been in the parking lot.” Long and Ezeagwula were targeted as they stood outside the recruiting center smoking cigarettes.
Muhammad did not speak during the brief hearing before Little Rock District Judge Alice Lightle. John Rehrauer, spokesman for the Pulaski County jail, said the department was handling Muhammad as it does other high-profile cases.
“He is in some protective custody, in a higher-security unit in a cell by himself,” Rehrauer said.
He said he didn’t know of any threats against Muhammad and said jailers did not believe he was in any greater danger than previous high-profile people handled at the prison.
The two soldiers had recently completed basic training and had volunteered for a program to recruit others to the military, said Lt. Col. Thomas F. Artis of the Oklahoma City Recruiting Battalion, which oversees the Little Rock office.
“They can show the example: ‘Here’s where I was, and here is where I am,’” Artis said.
A police report said Muhammad told investigators he observed two soldiers in uniform, drove up to the recruiting center and began shooting.
“He saw them standing there and drove up and shot them,” Lt. Terry Hastings told The Associated Press. “That’s what he said.”
Police arrested Muhammad along a highway moments after the shootings. Police said an assault rifle and other weapons were found in his vehicle.
In addition to the capital murder count, Muhammad is accused of committing 16 counts of a terrorist act. Thomas said most additional counts resulted from the gunfire occurring near other people.
Pvt. Long deserves better than this, Mr. President.

I totally agree. I had to revise this post several times to downplay my anger. Hypocrisy, thy name is Obama.
If the 50,000 aborted babies could talk I’m sure they would agree that their murders wre also heinous, which is the word Obama used to describe Tillman’s murder.
The National Administrator knows EXACTLY what he is doing, which is to reduce the stature of the United States in the world. His pal George Soros, among others, got him elected by using the MSM to blanket the country with praises and obfusticate the truth. This is their goal and they will measure success by how much trouble the USA is in when the current National Administrator finally leaves office…and I’ll tell you what, it ain’t looking good for the REAL home team…
