Some headlines say it all…

Mainstream media, you only have yourselves to blame. And Katie Couric at CBS is but one example of biased journalists killing the evening news on television. Not all news media… just over-the-top, rock-star-fan-club, closing-your-eyes-to-anything-negative biased news. FOX News’ ratings are excellent—rising above the others—from what I’ve read.

Katie, the “Obama is just SOOOO sexy and great and wise, so there” bubble-headed rhetoric has worn mighty thin with more and more Americans. And that nasty smear/attack interview you conducted in the fall on newcomer-to-Washington Sarah Palin didn’t make you any more respected or admired as a “hard-hitting, non-partisan” journalist by moderates and conservatives. Yeah, we remember that hostile hatchet job very well… your numbers are significantly lower than most conservative talk show hosts RADIO numbers. MSM vs. radio… it’s like taking a hefty step back into time, back to the days of our parents or grandparents, the black-and-white TV days of I Love Lucy and Father Knows Best. Who’d have ever thought that television viewership for CBS Evening News would ever be lower than AM talk radio?

I’ll say it again. You did it to yourselves.

The mainstream media has bent over backwards to proclaim Barack Obama as our savior, a god looking down on mankind, a benevolent genius, a “citizen of the world” far greater than mere mortals and far more important than “just any other ordinary American president.” His overlord role, as he sees it, isn’t included in American documents like the Bill of Rights or US Constitution or Declaration of Independence, so they must be revised. He’s a “sort of” god, according to one Newsweek hack. Obama knows what’s best for EVERYONE… the auto industry, the health industry, the energy industry… you name it, Obama knows more than anyone, even more than you know what’s for the best for yourself and your family.

He’s never run a business or a company or studied business or economics in college, but he knows best. Heavens, where would we all be if Obama hadn’t stepped in to correct the failures of America, your conservative mistakes with raising your children, your fiscally responsible errors in achieving the American dream, your silly notion that the distribution of wealth is a bad thing? And to top it off, he’s so nice. So clean. So well spoken. The MSM has embraced all this moronic trash, swallowed it happily like a tasty chocolate milkshake.

To all that, I firmly pronounce, “POPPYCOCK!”

Good grief, if we hear one more time how the magnificent Obama has “saved or created” 600 thousand-million-buzillion-whatever jobs (great post today on The Anchoress), and NO MSM JOURNALIST has one working brain cell active enough to question where in the heck he pulled those magical, fictional numbers, I’m going to scream. Jake Tapper is about the only reporter asking anything close to “tough questions.” Any at all… and there are myriad to ask. Everyone else is panting for a photo op or a chance to pet his puppy (keep your mind out of the gutter).

Americans see right through you, CBS News and Couric. You’ve underestimated the American public again.
