Sheriff Joe Arpaio Blamed for DC Holocaust Museum Shootout by Phoenix Mayor

In Phoenix, Arizona, jaw-droppingly bizarre-o events are happening. Mayor Phil Gordon is actually blaming Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio for the shootout tragedy at the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC. Thousands of miles away, Gordon says that Arpaio’s “local association” with neo-Nazies is partially to blame for the shootout of a hate-filled, racist, anti-conservative, neo-Nazi he had never met.
Gordon is shamelessly and irrationally using his role as mayor to pound his own political drum and to malign Sheriff Arpaio again. He’s been relentless in publicly attempting to smear Sheriff Arpaio many times over the last few years. While the MSM is blaming conservatives with non-existent evidence that they are responsible for the shooting (including talk show radio host Rush Limbaugh), in the Grand Canyon state, a city mayor with an ax to grind is connecting his own non-existent dots to blame a local county sheriff.
Gordon has had a long-running beef with Arpaio enforcing illegal immigration laws, and whenever opportunity presents itself, even if it happens thousands of miles away, Arpaio is Gordon’s convenient scapegoat.
Mayor Gordon, a strong supporter of La Raza (“The Race,” a Latino activist group), has lodged yet another hateful smear to irrationally connect Arpaio to the Holocaust Museum shooting. Gordon claimed this afternoon that because a white supremacist committed this domestic act of terror, then Arpaio, who has been seen talking with and photographed with white supremacists at public gatherings, must denounce them all or he, too, will have Stephen Johns’ blood on his hands.
What in the heck are you talking about, Mayor Gordon? This is self-serving political crap, with no valid evidence whatsoever.
Arpaio has said that at public functions and conferences, he talks with everyone and lets them take his picture, get an autograph — common public-appearance behavior of any official. He has never first asked them about their political inclinations or ideologies before permitting the snapping of a photo or starting a quick chat. “I talk to everyone,” Arpaio said on popular, conservative radio talk show host JD Hayworth’s program today. Arpaio said it is despicable that Gordon would manipulate and use the Holocaust Museum shooting to attack him and that the mayor is out of control. Arpaio told Hayworth that he believes he is being loosely associated with neo-Nazies by the mayor because of Arpaio’s successful illegal alien enforcement. It’s vengeance.
Sheriff Arpaio has been put under Federal investigation by Gordon for doing his job too well in curbing illegal immigration in Arizona. Read:

Gordon has brought sordid dishonor to our state. He just adds more fuel to the fire, and is an embarrassment for Arizona. His lack of objectivity on this matter and others are now drawing attention.
Recently, it was noted that illegal aliens and crimes committed by them in Phoenix had dropped. Gordon was asked by the media to what he attributed this drop. Gordon stumbled and said he really had NO idea why crime had dropped. No mention of Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his dedicated team of law enforcers.
Typical of Gordon. Ridiculous.
Because you support illegal aliens, don’t support closed borders, want to give them all the rights of legal citizens, and hang out with members of La Raza, then playing this same twisted game you’ve started with Arpaio, Mayor Gordon, you have the blood of Chandra Levy and 4-year-old Josie Bluhm on your hands. They were both killed by illegal aliens.
