Awesome interview. No whining, no anger, no babbling, some frustration, but no hostility. Just a strong woman, with a dose of humor, speaking her mind against a lecherous, perverse comedian disparaging both her daughters (but 14-year-old Willow was the one in question because she was the only daughter who attended the New York baseball game with mother Sarah Palin) and her family on TV. Defending not only her own daughter, but daughters everywhere who are mocked and maligned by comedians. Young women who are already struggling with issues of self-esteem.
Children of politicians should be off limits. Letterman and other liberal entertainers have been respectful of Obama’s children. The same should hold true for all other children of politicians. Let’s see what happens now.
Much better interview than I would have done. I would have wanted to rail on Letterman, rip his head off, pour hot coffee down his Worldwide Pants. Gov. Sarah Palin was good-natured and poised, but did not let Matt Lauer take over the interview, which he attempted to do when Letterman was being criticized. She held her ground or redirected the interview. Palin’s learning quickly… good for her.
Of course, the left-wing extremist liberals will tear her apart for this interview, for not just laughing off David Letterman’s nasty “knocked up” joke about her 14-year-old daughter. Keith Olbermann, in all his left-wing extremist craziness, has gone ballistic… wow, why so much sputtering, over-the-top hate, Keith? Olbermann’s medication needs to be upped.
Great job, Gov. Palin. Extremely classy and socially aware. And, it sounds like the Alaskan pipeline is going well, too. Kudos.
