Republican Clichés: Steven Crowder & Alfonzo Rachel Special (video)

When I watched this on YouTube, I didn’t ever actually laugh out loud, but I grimaced and nodded quite a bit.
Steven Crowder and Alfonzo Rachel have created a wry parody of “real Republicans,” based on every stereotype, malignment, falsehood, insult, double standard, and fabrication used and abused by the liberal MSM and left-wing groups these days. How much truth is in the parody? That’s up to each of our own personal experiences, biases, and vendettas.
Every imaginable cliché, including insults that have been hurled by hypocritical “empathetic liberals” at black members of the GOP as being “Uncle Toms” and traitors to their race, have been thrown in the parody pot.
Sadly, the “We Are Deliberately Mocking What Democrats Think of Republicans” spoof factor of the video will be lost on most Democrats and/or liberals. No enlightenment, no realizing that the broad brush wielded by their spokespeople is utterly bigoted and unbalanced, that this video strives to point it out through use of heavy-hitting exaggeration and cliché. The “in-your-face” irony and parody will be misinterpreted–that it’s the Republicans’ self-deprecating show of fact.
Too many will miss the entire point, and will be delighted that, in this video, Republicans have finally recognized and embraced their inner evil, greed, racism, narcissism, and homophobia. It just might make Sean Penn, Keith Olbermann, Janeane Garofalo, Matt Damon, Katie Couric, Chris Matthews, David Letterman, and Rosie O’Donnell proud of their country… for the very first time in their adult lives.
You can lead a liberal to knowledge… but you can’t make him think.
