Bad News: Sen. Feingold Admits What We’ve Suspected All Along: Obama’s “Public” Health Care Plan Meant to Ultimately Push Americans to Single-Payer Health Care

Finally, a Democrat who plainly speaks the unvarnished truth, unlike our president, who has not been forthright with the American people.
It’s what we’ve suspected all along: According to Democrat Sen. Russ Fiengold, Pres. Obama’s “public health care” plan is merely temporary, as it is meant to ease America into his full-blown socialized health care. He calls it “single-payer” health care, but no matter what it’s called, it’s government-run health care, and there is not a shred of evidence that this will be better than the health care system currently in place. Historically, single-payer health care is rationed, outrageously expensive, and inefficient.
To date, it has been determined that a hefty portion of poor people, those with chronic illnesses, and those who are older will likely not be eligible to participate in ObamaCare, despite months of promises that it is “universal” health care for all Americans without health insurance. It’s not. Congress is still trying to bring down the escalating cost, so some of the people who are included in the plan today will be removed once Congress starts finalizing it after July 4.
On a lighter note… Rep. Barney Frank, when asked this week which country has had success with single-payer health care, he said, “Scandinavia.” Barney, Scandinavia is NOT a country. Scandinavia is a large region in northern Europe that includes and is named after the Scandinavian Peninsula. It consists of Norway, Sweden, and Denmark; some folks argue for the inclusion of Finland and Iceland. Whatever. But, it’s a group of countries, you knucklehead, not a single country. From CSPAN: There are two separate committees in the Senate drafting health care bills – the Finance Committee and the Health Committee. The bills will be merged together afterwards. The Finance Committee has delayed the start of their “mark-up” process (the process of amending and ultimately passing the bill through Committee) until after the July 4th break, while they scramble and try to figure out how it will all be paid for. However, the Health Committee began the mark-up process for their bill yesterday. This is what Senator John McCain and the other GOP Senators are responding to in this next video clip.

Why on earth would we want to dismantle and destroy our current system? No, it’s not a perfect system, but it’s FAR superior to what Obama wants. One way to make our current system more affordable is to limit litigation. Oops, White House and congressional lawyers don’t want to hear THAT. But in doing that, doctors would not have to pay such high malpractice insurance premiums. Their saving could be passed on to their patients. This is just one relatively simple fix compared to the trillions of dollars and doomed-to-fail system Obama and Congress are currently hammering out. And no one has read the entire draft document yet, so this could be Son of Porkulus, and we know how dismally the government has handled the billions of dollars in the original porkulus package.
Considering the biggest, and most dismal, government power grab in all of American history has occurred in just the past few months with the taking over of banks, corporations, and the auto industry, I DO NOT want Obama and his appointed minions and union cronies to grab up even more of America’s free enterprise. I do not want them in charge of my health care or anyone else’s health care. ACORN is under investigation for a boatload of crimes.
