Liar of the House Nancy Pelosi wants to torpedo through the unfinished cap and trade bill THIS FRIDAY... why?

Nancy Pelosi… the misery that just keeps on giving. She is even more despicable than adulterers. Her approval rating is lower than John Ensign’s, than Mark Sanford’s, and possibly lower than even low-life, slimeball celebrity-bashing blogger Perez Hilton’s.

Here’s the latest stunt she’s trying to pull off, one that will jeopardize our nation’s financial stability for decades and burden Americans with huge tax increases on all forms of energy:

The “Liar of the House” is stealthily, but charging forward like a revved up race car, attempting to force Congress to vote this Friday on the Waxman-Markey global warming/climate change/energy tax bill. This is the same bill that last week was said to be trillions of dollars over budget. And what a majority of Americans polled last week said they do not want. The hoax of global warming/climate change is being exposed for the money-making (translation: additional taxes for America) fraud that it is, and panic is brewing on Capitol Hill. Global warming is a scam, and the truth is coming out.

Here’s something I’m sure was buried in the mainstream media newspapers, if it even was printed:

Just ram it through, Nancy thinks, without anyone fully reading or reviewing it, or it won’t have a snowball’s chance in Hades to pass. Word on the Hill is that Nancy has said that “anything” is for sale if a vote is cast in favor of this horrible bill. Been to Chicago lately, Nancy?

The energy taxation bill is still being written — Waxman was directed to go back to the drawing board because of the outrageous cost in it and the numerous gaping holes. When questioned on parts of the bill, Waxman admitted that he had not read it. He’s still working on it, and it’s longer than 1,000 pages at this point. How can a congressional vote be cast on something that IS NOT EVEN WRITTEN YET? Did Congress not learn a damned thing about the extraordinary costs and hidden pork in the TARP and stimulus bills? Good grief, are we in an alternate universe?

The important question to ask here is WHY? Why the sudden rush, the sudden “you don’t need to read it” burst of activity?

Whoever does not trust Nancy Pelosi, raise your hand. Me, too.

There is murmuring that ramming the cap and trade bill through has something to do with a new power grab intended for the honchos at EPA. I do not yet have full details, but I will update and provide links when I find more data. The reason Pelosi is rushing this energy rip-off bill through is because scrutiny is intensifying and EPA can’t be vested with its new powers to implement a bill that has not yet been approved. The weasels in Washington are at it again… this is beyond contemptible.

CALL YOUR CONGRESSMAN IN WASHINGTON. CALL YOUR CONGRESSMAN LOCALLY. Demand that this bill not be presented nor voted upon. The audacity of Nancy Pelosi to try to ramrod this monstrosity of a bill through behind Americans’ backs without proper review is beyond shameful.

Here’s the main number to reach Congress in Washington, DC. It is not toll-free, so you will incur a charge for calling it. As frugal as I am, I don’t care how high my landline phone bill will be, as I intend to call this number multiple times between today and tomorrow’s vote.
