The Waxman-Markey bill, HR 2454, barely passed in the House, Cap and trade liveblog, part 3: (Mini)-Filibuster; Vote time; Final vote – passes 219-212.

Nancy “Liar in the House” Pelosi strong-armed anyone who opposed this bill and virtually “sold the store” to anyone who would weasel out and change his or her vote to “yea.” Eight Republican turncoats: Bono Mack (CA); Castle; Kirk; Lance; LoBiondo: McHugh: Reichert: Smith (NJ). These Republican turncoats made the difference in the vote. Pelosi has worked her “evil” once again. Listen carefully and I’m sure you can hear her cackling in the distance…
