Pres. Obama’s approval rating index has dropped again—it is now at -5… yet another new record low for BHO:

When this poll was conducted, word had not yet been released about Obama’s elegant fine dining in Russia, nor his snubbing and flubbing with his meeting with Russia’s top dogs, Putin and Medvedev (New York Times: Family Night for Obamas Miffs Some in Moscow). And he has dropped even faster than the national average in his popularity in the state of Ohio.

As job losses mount, the passion index will expand in the negative, and his falling numbers may give moderate Democrats in red-leaning states second thoughts about supporting Obama’s big-spending plans on health care and energy. Getting behind a popular president is easy, but when the voters turn on the executive, don’t expect people to remain loyal — especially when they have to face the voters in 2010.

The high-spending, no-results Obama administration will accelerate those trends in the coming months. Expect Obama’s efforts with Congress to get more difficult, not less, even with the addition of Al Franken to the Senate.

The very fact that the Sarah Palin haters are attempting to influence the readers of a conservative blog tells me that they are running scared.
The light at the end of the tunnel is our train. It is not the end of their tunnel.
We are determined to take this country back, at least to a reasonable constitutional outline on governance.

It has been absolutely crazy… I’ve had more nasty, crazed anti-Sarah Palin attacking comments that I’ve had to delete (most were extremely profane) in the past week than I’ve received in total for nasty, profane comments on all topics for the entire blog since its launch. And I get a number of those every week… part of the territory – my husband says if I’m not getting under the skin of the Left, I’m not rattling enough cages. But so many comment posts against Palin and her children in just the past few days??? I agree with you – there is an irrational fear, so I’m guessing that ACORN-paid drones are just seeking out conservative sites and copying/pasting the same garbage. Hence, my revised “post rules.” And then, funny thing, I was personally attacked by a number of people for NOT letting them post their Palin attack comments… rather funny, if it weren’t so dang tragic.
Palin is not going to be maligned here, period. The MSM and other liberal blogs have more than enough freedom to spew their nonsense in a zillion different venues. Not here. I’ll permit some polite debate (within reason) but that’s subject to my approval.
