Republican turncoats who sold America up the river with 'tax Americans to death' energy tax
My heartfelt applause is to the countless concerned Americans across our nation who were tenacious and kept contacting their elected officials about the travesty of the “tax Americans to death” global warming energy tax.
Their diligent efforts continued even after the House barely passed the bill (America, you DO remember that well-publicized, historical vote in the House, right? It was the day after Michael Jackson died from prescription drug problems… oh, wait, most of the major news stations were too busy playing “Billie Jean” music videos and interviewing the bellowing Al Sharpton to mention it… my bad).
For now, the vote in the Senate has been postponed. The following was just posted a few minutes ago by conservative journalist/blogger Michelle Malkin (Michelle, you rock, girl!), Pressure’s on: Senate Dems put cap-and-tax on ice:
Evidence that the global warming zealots are feeling the heat: The Senate Democrats have decided to delay action on cap-and-tax until after the August recess.
Your calls and faxes are not in vain. Keep it up:
The primary U.S. Senate committee responsible for writing climate change legislation will delay its work until September, Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Chairman Barbara Boxer said on Thursday.
Boxer, who earlier this week said she wanted her committee to finish writing its portion of legislation mandating reductions in carbon dioxide emissions before an early August recess, told reporters that instead, “We’ll do it as soon as we get back” in September.
The delay could be a setback to President Barack Obama, who wants quick congressional action on a climate change bill.
Hey, GOP Cap-and-Tax 8′ers, feeling pretty stupid right about now?
I’ll bet Nancy “Liar of the House” Pelosi is fit to be tied about this delay. Good.
America, keep your voices loud and clear. It’s still a tough battle, but united, we can make a difference.

Data from Satellites Showing No Global Warming vs. 1980?
I am no weather junkie, but a recent weather satellite report seems to show, to the uneducated eye, that the global temperature is now back to where it was in 1980, after a temporary spike in the late 1990s. See http://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/07/10/rss-global-temperature-for-june-09-also-down/, citing government satellite data.
Of course, climate changers are quick to argue that this data is not relevant to global warming — a new play on the Wizard of Oz, where the Wiz is caught and bursts out, “Pay no attention to the man behind the screen!” Or maybe this is more like the little boy who cries, “The Emperor has no clothes.”
