Ed, you got it right.
The sun is our solar systems’ master.
Without it, we would be dead, and our planet would be cruising through space.

We happen to exist on a planet in our solar system that we can exist on.

The Goldilocks syndrome is in play.

The thieves in Washington are playing us for fools as long as they can make money off of our ignorance.

Data from Satellites Showing No Global Warming vs. 1980?

I am no weather junkie, but a recent weather satellite report seems to show, to the uneducated eye, that the global temperature is now back to where it was in 1980, after a temporary spike in the late 1990s. See http://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/07/10/rss-global-temperature-for-june-09-also-down/, citing government satellite data.

Of course, climate changers are quick to argue that this data is not relevant to global warming — a new play on the Wizard of Oz, where the Wiz is caught and bursts out, “Pay no attention to the man behind the screen!” Or maybe this is more like the little boy who cries, “The Emperor has no clothes.”
