Reset Button Broken? Obama’s Handshake Snubbed by Russian Leaders? Tough to Determine…

Word on the street is that Russian politicians snubbed Obama by refusing to shake his hand during his visit to Moscow.
I’ve included two slightly different videos of the Moscow “handshake snubbing” to give altered views. Watch Obama’s outstretched hand closely in both and his face in both.
Hard for me to determine. While it certainly appears the first few times I viewed it that the Russian leaders blow right past him, he could be gesturing TO the men in the handshake-receiving line. Not a peep of speculation about it by the liberal mainstream media, natch. Would be great if they did a serious play-by-play as they did with Obama’s “Ass-Gate butt leering” moment in Italy last week. Naysayers claim the video has been doctored and that he wasn’t snubbed. Maybe that is indeed the case, but I’m still relishing the possibility of the opposite.
With all his previous snubs of world leaders, it could be a golden “what goes around, comes around” moment. Bet Nicolas Sarkozy and Gordon Brown are *wink, wink* slapping their thighs while guffawing. But like I noted earlier, it’s difficult to tell.

Hard to believe liberals still believe George W. Bush was “the stupid one.” I don’t think he ever messed up on how he met his wife Laura, especially when meeting with Russian leaders. And getting his daughter’s age wrong? Snort.

I asked my dad about these videos as he has spent much time in Russia and is married to a Russian citizen. They both said “definite snub”. They watched it live on TV with a mix of shock and amusement.
Thanks for your dad’s insight, Becbeq. It looked like that to me, too, but I wanted to give the situation the benefit of the doubt.
He is not getting snubbed. Those are American delegates he is introducing to Medvedev. If he WAS getting snubbed, why would Medvedev shake hands with his own entourage?

How can you NOT see the snub? Back away from the Kool Aid my friend. “IF” he was in fact making introductions, why isn’t his mouth moving (except for the first one where he looks likes he’s saying How do you do)? Or do Liberal Dems just grunt like Tim The Tool Man? Also, notice the difference in the first couple he tries to shake hands with and the last one. On the last one he is definately NOT going to shake hands but is doing his best “Game Show” hand gesture.
You people make total fools of yourselves with this stuff.

Yeah wise guys…the second to last to shake Medvedev’s hand is commerce secretary Gary Locke. Obama’s clearly introducing Medvedev to American officials.
Sir, having seen the entire video I hope you find it within yourself to update this page. I watched the encounter live beginning to end, and was absolutely fascinated (and embarrassed) by my countrymen that continue to spread total falsehoods. As stated in a couple of responses, this was the AMERICAN delegation. Look up the entire video for yourself.
What is America coming to, being overrun by scared, uneducated people who think that one man can change our entire nation in one fell swoop. It makes me ashamed to be a conservative. The people that spread these kinds of videos are not true conservatives in my mind.

To quote what I wrote on this last month: “Hard for me to determine. Much more fair than the liberal media has been for the hateful fabricated garbage they continue to write about Sarah Palin, Americans at town hall rallies and tea parties, Americans who oppose abortion, all Christians, Rush Limbaugh, Carrie Prejean, Michelle Malkin, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, and of course, George W. Bush.
One man cannot “change our entire nation in one fell swoop.” No one here has ever said that. It is the progressive socialist actions of he and his administration team, systematically removing our freedoms and replacing them with government mandates, which ultimately WILL lead to our nation being totally controlled not BY THE PEOPLE, but BY THE GOVERNMENT. That’s fact, not fiction.
Your defense of the president is interesting. This is a silly little thing, this video. Non-important, but amusing.
When the media was (and still is) so nasty and maligning towards GW Bush, did you denounce any of that, write on liberal blogs that they needed to stick to the truth, that the blame of the 9/11 attacks, our entry into Iraq and Afghanistan, and the economy downfall were NOT Bush’s fault? Likewise, with the many broken promises and lies POTUS has told in the last few months, and his efforts to turn conservatives into silenced worker bees through the “report of fishy information” to the White House and the Media Diversity efforts to sneak through the “back door” an adaptation of the Fairness Doctrine (silencing religious programming and conservative talk radio, anything that doesn’t support the statist agenda or offers opposing opinions to Obama), why are you posting outrage HERE on a video from a month ago and not on any of the real issues that affect Americans? Very, very curious…
Sorry, you’re not a conservative as you claim, Roger. You’re a statist. Or terribly naive. Because your outrage at this is not what a conservative would be outraged over – read a few other posts here on health care or Waxman-Markey or Internet scrutiny and get back to me, OK?

Go to Pic #37. That is the very same scene as it is in the video, notice the smiling guy in the middle with the green tie, glasses and funny hair. The man next to him, shaking hands with President Medvedev, is Michael McFaul, Obama’s senior Russia advisor.

I’m surprised that you’re responding to this old piece, a silly piece from several months ago that really wasn’t more than an amusement. If you’re concerned about people hiding from the truth, I’d love for you to read everything I’ve written about the child sex/tax fraud scandal with Obama’s favorite community organization, ACORN. It’s much more current than this old article and more serious. This was just a silly little thing… but it looks like it still amuses or annoys leftwingers like yourself.
Even with overwhelming evidence available, leftwingers are screaming “right-wing scare tactics” and “right-wing smear job” with the ACORN scandal. Even with the proof, unvarnished, right in front of them. What’s your opinion on it, Will?
