Harry Alford to John Ziegler: “Sen. Barbara Boxer Is a Racist” (video)

Wow, quite a week. TOTUS crashes, Obama’s approval numbers continue to crash (plus, his All-Star opening pitch was embarrassing, as were his “dad” pants… both nearly “crash and burns”), and now, a US Senator from California behaves in a patronizing, racist manner to a black businessman that, if she had been a Republican, the Democrats would be boiling up the tar, gathering the feathers, and sharpening the pitchforks about now. But she’s a Democrat.
So, whistle a nervous little tune and pretend it never happened. Everyone knows that only Republicans are racist, remember?
It’s another CFOYT – Captured Forever On YouTube moment. Cringe-worthy and shameful.
Yesterday, California Democrat Sen. Barbara Boxer insulted Harry Alford, chairman of the National Black Chamber of Commerce during an energy/global warming bill meeting.
As you may recall, last month Boxer was snippy and snide with a brigadier general because he addressed her as “ma’am” and not as “Senator.” This woman is an elitist nightmare who has forgotten she is a servant of the people.
And now, apparently, she plays race politics badly. I thought Boxer was just plain creepy, sounding like a stern schoolmarm trying to shame an unruly school boy for disagreeing with her. Not the tone nor attitude to take with a respected black businessman who was INVITED AS A WITNESS. Even more notably, if your party is the one that is always playing the race card against Republicans and embracing the ooey-gooey “hope and change” hype.
The GOP should demand an apology, as should Alford. Taking the high road on this one is NOT taking the high road… silence is acceptance, and the display of racism and disdain of our military (again) by Barbara Boxer should elicit loud outrage, not polite mumblings.

It’s unbelievable how condescending she is, but Alford speaks out. Enough is enough.
This isn’t the first time Babs “Call Me Senator” Boxer has behaved appallingly to a black.
Apparently, it is just now coming out that people had observed her being disrespectful and condescending to Condoleeza Rice not too long ago. Boxer also was reportedly disrespectful to Janice Rogers Brown, a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit who had previously been an Associate Justice of the California Supreme Court. holding that post from 1996 until her appointment to the DC Circuit. It’s ironic, in light of the Sonia Sotomayor SCOTUS hearings this week, that Pres. George W. Bush nominated Brown to her current position back in 2003. However, her nomination was stalled in the US Senate for almost two years due to Democrat opposition. TWO YEARS. And the Democrats feel that the hearings this week for Sotomayor and querying her on her judicial activism are already going too long. Both Rice and Brown are black Republican women.
But, I digress.
Today, in the audio/video below, Alford explains to John Ziegler on his radio show what happened, how he felt, and flatly states that the liberal senator is a racist.
Alford was appalled and angry about how Boxer treated him during the Senate committee hearing, saying because of the color of his skin, she treated him “like an ignorant jigaboo up there.”

I’ve said it before, and I’ll keep saying it: Babs needs to go, pronto… I strongly suggest you California voters consider supporting Chuck DeVore in 2010 for the United States Senate. DeVore isn’t an elitist, a power-monger, nor a racist. Already, he’s miles above Boxer in character.
