Last time I looked, America’s financial situation has been steadily plummeting from bearable disaster to economic despair to unmitigated crisis. Moving Gitmo terrorists for the sake of moving them, to a facility not designed to house these bloodthirsty, jihadi Gitmo detainees, defies logic. I’ve heard some critics say we need to shut it down because Gitmo has a “stigma.” A stigma… Radical, murdering terrorists don’t care about stigmas. Misguided liberal terrorist-huggers, on the other hand, might.
Madness, utter madness. Why on Earth would anyone with an ounce of sanity compromise the safety of American citizens like this?
To what state would the terrorists be transferred? Pennsylvania? Colorado? Texas? Why would any of these locations be better suited than the maximum-security prison facility we already have in place in Cuba? And who wants radical terrorists in their home state, in their city? It’s ridiculous and reckless.
Moving them from Guantánamo Bay to yet another high-security facility appears to be nothing more than a pricey political dog-and-pony show by the Obama administration.
“Better to do something than to do nothing.” Yeah… we’ve seen how effectively that bogey-man, Rules for Radicals scare tactic of the Democrats and POTUS worked with bitch-slapping Congress into passing the horrible non-stimulus/porkulus bill, without anyone being able to READ it and its nearly 9,000 pork barrel projects. Crash and burn, baby… but at least, no one was bombed or beheaded. With Club Gitmo terrorist detainees, that guarantee can’t ever be made. EVER.

Concerning the relocation of prisoners and the closure of Club Gitmo, Pres. Obama’s stance and skeleton plan of implementation keeps wavering and shifting about what to do with those pesky terrorists. No one wants them, especially their home countries. Why? BECAUSE THEY ARE TERRORISTS.
Radical terrorists are the worst kind of dangerous. These aren’t your garden-variety killers and thugs: they are bloodthirsty, zealous fanatics. Most believe that killing infidels, particularly Americans, is a righteous and honorable thing to do; they are compelled to shed blood. Human life has little value to these terrorists. When released, many return to terrorism. Since 2002, at least 61 former Gitmo detainees have committed or are suspected to have committed attacks after being released. In May, the New York Times disclosed the existence of a Pentagon report showing that 1 in 7 jihadi Gitmo detainees had returned to terror.
Repeat: 1 in 7 return to their former occupation, that of killing people.

In all my Gitmo posts, I keep returning to and using this succinct quote from Greg Gutfeld at Big Hollywood:
So President Obama finally figured out what to do with those detainees at Gitmo, and it only cost $12 million per captive. That’s right: we’re sending those 17 Chinese Muslim terror suspects currently at Gitmo to a place called Palau, in exchange for 200 million bucks in aid.
FYI: Palau is a little island somewhere near the Philippines, with a population of about 20,000 people. It was also the site for “Survivor,” twice – so it’s obviously familiar with housing no-good, belligerent ass-hats. So let me get this straight: Obama’s solution for fulfilling his promise to dismantle a prison camp in a foreign land… is to replace it with another prison camp in a foreign land. Truly, this is change we can believe in.
Gutfeld’s right. Malkin’s right, Ihofe’s right. We need to tell Washington to leave the Muslim terrorists where they are.

I am totally against relocating GITMO terrorists to some undetermined place on US soil.
OBAMA made this decision without STUDYINIG the ramifications. He saw it as an easy way to get his agenda on a roll. HASTE MAKES WASTE!!!!!!
