I’ve been a cop in Massachusetts for 33 years. The officer had a right to arrest because of the tumultuous and disorderly behavior that neighbors and passersby were witnessing. Period. We are “peacekeepers” first and foremost. I want to spread the word that black and white police officers, both male and female, have a totally different relationship than what the elites think. We would die for each other, the frustrations of one of us are shared by all of us. If a black officer is belittled, a female officer is belittled, we all feel it. Obama and crew thought race trumped everything but they were ignorant of the way it really is in law enforcement. There were a lot of frustrated police officers the day after he made his “stupidity” statement and they were all colors and both genders. We hate bad cops and bigots more than anyone else. We share and witness things most people should never have to see, and we protect and respect each other. We all have a “gallows humor”, fight and disagree like brothers and sisters, but we are, for lack of a better word, a “family.” Watch the interview of the black female Cambridge officer and look at her expression. It says it better than I could ever hope to.

So, the Cambridge police have been called “stupid” by the President of the United States! Seen internatonally! A passerby called police when two men were trying to break into a house. Sgt. James Crowley was one of the cops who responded . What if he had happened to be one of Cambridge’s 41 black officers who responded and asked Gates for an ID? Maybe Gates would have produced the ID instead of rufusing and screaming racist remarks to the officer! Who really was the racist here?

Obama owes a publc apology to Officer Crowley. Will I see it? I don’t think so.

He’s obviously at his level of incompetence and can’t function ad lib. Witness his rambling incoherent answers at the press conference last night.
