Chilling cautionary tales about gun control—and how it has miserably failed for law-abiding citizens in Australia, UK, and Canada—are shown in the videos below. It’s imperative that Americans retain their Second Amendment right to bear arms, or we will surely go down the same path of disaster. While our rights still remain intact, liberal back-door efforts in Washington are working to undermine them.

Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)! In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent. Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not, and criminals still possess their guns! While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months, since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.

From a British citizen some clarification:
fox hunting is a sporting hunt which yields no food. You cannot eat a fox. The people depicted in the UK segment were protesting a ban on fox hunting only, during which hunters on horseback use beagles to chase down a fox and kill it. It’s a traditional rite and serves no purpose other than pest control.
Re: the handgun ban. Nobody hunts their dinner with a handgun. Shotguns are not banned in the UK.
Tony Norfolk shot Fred Barras in the back as he was running away, which is why he was found guilty of manslaughter. Both burglars were unarmed and ran away when they heard Tony approach with his shotgun.
Most UK Police do have guns, especially in major cities like London. They have been slowly introduced in police vehicles and in airports etc, over the last 10–20 years.
My position: I think shotguns should be allowed, but handguns are a different story. My American in-laws all have guns and I have no problem with that. I believe in a person’s right to live off the land. However, guns are inherent in American life and in the UK they’re not used to it.
I’m only half-joking when I say that if every English person got a gun tomorrow, there’d be nobody left by the end of the week!
More important: the reason that crime is on the increase in the UK is not because of a handgun ban. And that’s a whole other story.
And who says that Americans will lose their gun rights? That’s never going to happen.
And I should clarify that, yes indeed, you can eat a fox. However, those participating in fox hunts do not eat the fox when they catch it. The dogs maul it and gnaw on it until it dies and then they discard it.
And, these days, there are other more humane forms of pest (i.e. fox) control than catching it and ripping it apart.
You may not have cause for concern. Gun rights have actually expanded to some extent during this administration, at least according to this video: http://www.flypmedia.com/issues/33/#2/1
