Teachable moment: Beer summit quote of the day from the NY Times, from Prof. Henry Gates:
“We hit it off right from the beginning. When he’s not arresting you, Sergeant Crowley is a really likable guy.”
And I’m sure that Prof. Gates, when he isn’t yelling at someone about being a racist and making punk “mama” comments, is really a cuddly, lovable, old teddy bear with a cane.
Sigh.
