Fake Democrat Astro-turf Protesting: Is Code Pink “Too-Well Dressed”? Or Just “Too Pink”? Only Sen. Babs Boxer Knows for Sure…

Classic, memorable advertisement from the 1950s and 1960s for Miss Clairol hair color: “Does she or doesn’t she? Only her hairdresser knows for sure…”
The subtle message relayed by the ad was that Miss Clairol hair color was so natural, that no one could tell that a woman’s dye job was a fake, except her beloved, held-to-secrecy hairdresser. Back then, appearing to be a natural beauty was almost as good as actually being a natural beauty. Fake bad, real good… like ObamaCare town hall protesters these days.
Sen. Barbara Boxer’s interview yesterday really was irksome. She claims that most of the town hall protesters were plants, were fake… because they were too-well dressed so they couldn’t possibly be “real” protesters. Well-dressed conservatives protesting are bogus, based on what evidence?
Are they hired by some Republican oil-tycoon-sugar-daddy in Texas? Snort.
Or, how about this, Senator: most conservatives are OLDER than your average liberal college student, and most are intelligent enough and “old-school” trained to dress nicely and not wear pizza-and-beer-stained T-shirts and ratty flip-flops to a government protest. Wacky, I know…
My mother-in-law is in her 80s and is thinking of going to a health care protest. What should she wear, Babs, so she’ll look not “too” dressed up? A tank top with Jim Morrison on the front? Or would Hugo Chavez be better?
Lord knows she would be mortified if anyone labeled her as a fake “Astro-turf” protester because she took a shower, wore lipstick, and wore a buttoned-up blouse. She’d never live down the embarrassment in her retirement community if anyone said she wasn’t “authentic enough.” I’m guessing that even Sarah Palin “dresses too well” for Boxer to consider a “real” grassroots conservative.
Which brings me to the way some “famous” liberal protesters dress.
Yowzer, talk about suspicious. Code Pink, that despicable women’s group that maligns our nation’s fine troops, must be among the most fakey of fakes, most bogus of bogus liberal Astro-turf protesters of them all. No, they aren’t too “well-dressed,” but too “weird-dressed.” Like Vegas acts or Hollywood street performers. Which, since they don’t look like they’re wearing flour sacks, means they could indeed be TOO-WELL DRESSED. Uh-oh…
George Soros must be laying down some pretty heavy cash for those outfits, gals.
I mean, for crying out loud, just LOOK AT THEM! Pepto-Bismol pink nightmares… No way are they real and grass-roots. The whole contrived pink-thing is an over-the-top act to hog the spotlight, get more media exposure. What cameraman or MSM reporter can resist this left-wing, anti-military kitsch? Astro-turf all the way, baby!
I think they’re just too PINK. And too angry. And too PINK… yeah, I said it twice.

These last two photos are the most deplorable and disgusting… no class, no grace, no honor here. A number of Code Pink protesters also stake out VA hospitals… disgraceful bitches.
So, Babs, about the fake-vs-real status of Code Pink? Are they “authentic” or “bogus,” per your special yardstick of “protester authenticity”? Like the Miss Clairol ad from long ago: “Are they or aren’t they? Only Babs Boxer knows for sure…”
Sen. Boxer hasn’t yet explained how she is able to confidently identify and malign “fake” conservative protesters, but can’t identify nor has ever maligned “fake” liberal protesters. No mention of moderate protesters.
You’re an out-of-touch, abrasive nitwit, Sen. Boxer. An embarrassment… Californians, this is YOUR senator. You brought her into office, you can take her out.

My pleasure, Ed… I really get a kick out of your commentary. Your observations on Conyers and the whole Gates-gate brouhaha were really great to read.
Wow, whatever happened to moderates? Why is a far-right-wing extremist any better than a far-left-wing extremist? I’m not surprised that the father of our country, George Washington, spoke AGAINST political parties. His warning came prophetically true: concentrating money and political power in the hands of a privileged few. Political parties have done exactly that in America.
When our country was young, people didn’t make politics a career. We had citizen-legislators: legislators who would heed the call of service to our nation for a few years, then go back to what they did before going into public service.
Today we have two groups of powerful extremists, one as bad as the other, and neither gets much done in washington due to the NEVER ENDING BICKERING! Republicans are just as bad as Democrats and vice versa!
I say DUMP BOTH PARTIES out of Washington, outlaw both Democrats AND Republicans, and start over. Neither party is serving our nation’s best interests.

BW: I get your point and agree except that our founding fathers wanted a country that leaned far-right almost to the point of anarchy but not quite. That way the government would always be scared of the people and not the other way around… as the far left side of the spectrum would be. I also say “a pox on both houses” and I would encourage all Republicans out there that aren’t satisfied with our politicians to register as Independents. At one time in my life I thought it kind of cowardly and I actually was against term limits but things change and now I’m for both.
