Last month, for the first time in its 42-year-old history, Pres. Barack Obama denied a flyover request for the patriotic “God and Country Rally” in Idaho.

The message from the Pentagon stated that the denial of the request was because the event was religious, although it was not. It has been a long-honored rally that pays tribute to our nation’s troops, not any one religion.

More and more Americans, especially Christians, are wondering:

Is there a culture of hostility toward expressions of faith—particularly those expressions and traditions held dear by those of Christian faith—from Pres. Obama and his administration?
