Obama’s Failed Experiment after Just 200 Days: Socialized Health Care Doomed to Fail (video)

Has it only been about 200 days with Pres. Obama in office? Feels more like a, oh, what’s the word… eternity.
Obama’s socialist experiment is wrong for America. It flies in direct opposition of what our country is about, what our founding fathers intended for us… life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Less government, more freedoms for the people.
Socialism guarantees misery, distributed. Socialized, government-run health care does not work. If you don’t want to examine the track records of socialist countries that have substandard health care systems, you need look no further than America to see two government-run health care systems that are woefully lacking: the health care of our military veterans and that of Native Americans.
Barack Obama, In Denial… 200 Days
Our government is still not managing the health care systems of Native Americans or military vets well, so why would we EVER believe they could do it with the health care of 380 million Americans? They’ve had more than 70 years to get it right on the Indian reservations and the VA hospitals… and have not. The private sector health care system has many problems, I agree. But fixing those problems (Medicare, Medicaid, tort reform) makes more sense and will cost far less than throwing out the current system to implement a shaky, government “new experiment.”
According to a new Rasmussen poll, forty-eight percent (48%) of U.S. voters now rate the U.S. health care system as good or excellent and just 19% rate it as poor. The new polling also shows that 80% of those with insurance rate their own coverage as good or excellent.

You have no idea how invigorating it is to read someone else’s words that reflect your own frustrations and beliefs almost exactly. I can only add that we should be careful not to put ourselves into a position where we are considered defenders of the current health care system as “perfect” because it is not. I believe that most of your readers understand that there was never a “crisis” in the first place and can see what is actually taking place. Control the people’s health and medical care and you control them.
I concur completely. The “crisis” was manufactured to enable this administration to ram through its government-run objective. Hillary Clinton spearheaded a similar effort during her husband’s presidency, and America woke up to that. I believe the same will hold true now, but we must be vigilant and keep our congressmen on their toes.
As I have said many times in posts, our current health care system has many problems. But I believe that we still have one of the best systems in the world, one that makes the systems in socialized countries look anemic. Can our current health care system be improved upon? I believe it can be and should be. Should we capriciously throw it out before addressing and improving upon the flaws and problems? No, no, no.
Socialized health care is not “free” and despite what the president has said about ObamaCare not infringing on present health care providers you have nor present health care insurance you have, the text of the still-to-be completed health care reform bill does NOT reflect his assurances. Quite the contrary. It’s all about control and power, as you pointed out. If it was purely about making health care affordable, why hasn’t there been even a whisper about limiting litigation, limiting what ambulance-chasing lawyers can demand in awards? Because, well, most of Washington is comprised of lawyers and legal lobbyists. Can’t bite the hand that feeds you nor bite your own hand.
