No? Oh, it’s just multi-gazillionaire liberal George Soros dumping more millions into the ObamaCare kitty to pay these “rent-a-mob” folks to crash and potentially “thug-up” town hall meetings across America.

George Soros, who once pledged his entire fortune in an unsuccessful effort to unseat George Bush, has pledged another $5 million to overcome popular opposition to the government takeover of the health-care industry. [Greg] Sargent rightly notes that this will become a flashpoint for both sides of the divide:
In another sign of the urgency gripping the pro-health care reform camp, billionaire George Soros has pledged to sink $5 million into the fight, the group getting the money confirmed.
Soros — whose operation carefully guards the privacy of such donations — made the pledge to Health Care For America Now, the leading coalition of pro-reform groups, unions and providers, HCAN chief Richard Kirsch confirmed in an email that was forwarded to me. …
The Soros pledge is noteworthy, because both sides will seize on it. The right will say it shows the real astroturfing is coming from the pro-reform side — billionaire bogeyman Soros is bankrolling this fight!
The left will cite the donation to demand that HCAN show real results. Some on the left, such as blogger Jane Hamsher, have been asking why heavily-bankrolled HCAN hasn’t been able to secure more commitments from Dem members of Congress to stand firm behind a public option.
However, that group may run afoul of Rahm Emanuel and the White House. Emanuel has demanded that HCAN and other advocacy groups focus their sights on Republicans and stop attacking vulnerable Democrats — which, in this case, would be those who have shown great reluctance to get on board with ObamaCare.

Turns out there are hundreds, if not thousands, of advertisements seeking “activists” who will be paid to support Obamacare. That’s right CNN. That’s right Olbermann. You want astroturf? It’s out there by the dozens. In support of, not in opposition to.

Can we safely assume that anything George Soros supports will undermine and de-stabilize America? How many times do we have to see it? He will never understand the spirit of this country no matter how many millions he pours into achieving his agenda. I almost get a perverted pleasure out of watching someone like him try to achieve something that would be possible in almost every other country… except this one. He’ll find enough idiots to do his bidding but he’ll pour millions into something that will never be possible in a free country with a free spirit, people who KNOW what freedom is and will never relinquish it for the likes of him and his elitists cronies. The fact that the NH townhall meeting with Obama was filled with so many supporters may be easy to explain, even by a non-geek like me. Something to think about:
Remember that the White House has hired technically savvy people to handle their web presence, not to mention the campaign that put Obama into the White House. Google employees and others have joined the Administration.
The White House has frequently asked the public to submit questions and comments on various issues. People who do so typically fill in government web forms.
This process allows the WH to collect email and IP addresses for perhaps several million people. I’ll bet it also allows them to sort those comments according to the views expressed — opponents vs.supporters.
A presorted database would be a goldmine for controlling who gets access to Obama events.
All the WH would have to do to keep opponents out of a townhall is to program their computer to crosscheck all applicants for townhall tickets or other venues. If the IP or email address shows up on the opponents list, the computer ignores the request. If it shows up on the supporter database, it gets placed into the lottery.
