AFVET: Thank you and you also have touched on the pulse of what is happening. Although we never wished to have our country at this crossroad, there’s something about being a citizen opposing this takeover that is invigorating and gives us a sense, maybe nothing like our founding fathers went through, but nonetheless an important purpose to protect our liberty. It makes us appreciate even more what their environment might have been like, not what our history books have simplified or sanitized. They probably had next door neighbors, friends, and acquaintances that thought we should capitulate to the British wishes for the benefit of the colony… but they saw the bigger picture and actually predicted that this would happen.

Dave,.. you are spot on.
Your observations reflect the sentiments of the majority of American People.
IMO, Obama will get enough czars to eliminate congress’s power, eliminate the people’s voice through their electorate, and rule America from the oval office.
The American People will defend our LIBERTY.

We are living in an extremely important time in our lives.
This is critical, they are trying to destroy the private sector one step at a time.

We need to get rid of the czars !

What we are seeing right now has been formulated for years, and Obama is going to stick it to America.

NOT ON OUR WATCH !!!!!

I think the current situation represents a crossroads for many congressional Democrats because this white house is forcing them to the forefront of so many unpopular, expensive, tax burdensome, and aggressive far left programs that most of them will come to the realization that in 2010 Obama and crew will still be in office but they’ll be private citizens once again. I think the internal politics will boil down to whether or not the white house cronies try to sabotage,threaten, or buy off the more moderate Democrats if they have the audacity to buck his government takeover programs or whether the voters will overwhelmingly vote them out of office. I’ll bet most of them are starting to see that the latter is almost a certainty if they fold and vote the current government takeover into law.

This is a liittle off the subject of the post, and I apologize, but I wanted to urge anyone who has received an email from White House advisor David Axelrod, to consider filing a Freedom of Information Request, to determine if the Guv’mint is keeping tabs on you. You can copy and paste the form from my blog, if Ms. Vicki doesn’t mind, and edit it with your own information. If you publish a blog, then you should qualify for a press exemption for the minor expense.

I have listed two FOIA representatives addresses, but I am not sure that is the correct department to send it to. I called DC, OMB liason and she is attempting to find out who is in charge of the “fishy” misinformation purveyors’ list. If anyone has an idea which dept would have dominion over such a list, let me know. I will keep you posted. Thanks Vicki.
