Per Rasmussen: All-time low approval for the Big Guy

So many reasons why Pres. Obama’s numbers continue to sink, so little desire to type them all out. If you’re stunned by his low numbers, you’ve not been paying attention, champ.

No shock, no surprise… socialism SUCKS, and America is realizing that when Mark Levin, Michelle Malkin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Ann Coulter, Sarah Palin, Karl Rove, et al, said that Obama was taking us down a socialist, totalitarian, power-grabbing, dream-robbing, anti-Constitutional path of national demise and destruction… well, golly gee, THEY WERE RIGHT.

America is waking up: waking up to the mess Obama’s administration and umpteen czars have made of so MANY things, his record overspending and disregard for what Americans want, plus the nasty, vicious way Democrats have responded to First Amendment-protected dissension on the ObamaCare issue at town halls… these likely had a big hand in BHO’s tanking approval. Plus, he really doesn’t understand anything beyond community organizing, like how an economy works. He believes he and his lawyer cronies are qualified to make better decisions on your health care (and what you eat and how much you weigh) than trained doctors… dangerous hubris.

Calling in ACORN henchmen and union thugs to crash legal protests at town halls across the country, calling Americans who dissent “political terrorists,” and asking that citizens fink on their neighbors with any “fishy” information to the White House is a recipe for doom, Mr. President. Keep it up… I’m sure your numbers can get MUCH lower without you breaking a sweat.

You’ve underestimated the grit, patriotism, independence, drive, and determination of Americans. So has the Democrat party.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 29% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-seven percent (37%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -8.

Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter is feeling the heat of the health care debate. He now trails Republican Pat Toomey by double digits in an early look at the potential 2010 race. Two months ago, Specter led by double digits. Most Pennsylvania voters oppose the Congressional health care reform effort. Also, Specter’s lead is shrinking in his Democratic Primary match-up with Congressman Joe Sestak.

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates also available on Twitter.

Overall, 47% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. That’s the lowest level of total approval yet recorded. The President’s ratings first fell below 50% just a few weeks ago on July 25. Fifty-two percent (52%) now disapprove.

Seventy-seven percent (77%) of Republicans disapprove along with 65% of those not affiliated with either party. Seventy-eight percent (78%) of Democrats offer their approval. Most women (51%) offer their approval while most men (56%) disapprove.
