Geesh, with all the lies flying out of the White House this past week, like ObamaCare email spamming and the president’s secret, shady Big Pharma deals, it’s difficult to determine if Pres. Barack Obama exaggerated about AARP’s support, or if AARP has suddenly changed its position because of membership outcry and is now choosing to throw Obama under the bus. Without its membership dues, heck, there would be no AARP.

But the President may have overstated support for his plan in one instance. When asked about the potential impact of the reform plan on Medicare, the President said, “The AARP would not be endorsing a bill if it was undermining Medicare.” Problem is – the AARP has not yet endorsed the plan. The New Hampshire head of the AARP chapter here told ABC’s Lisa Chinn today that the AARP hasn’t yet made up its mind as an organization whether to endorse the bill.

What might be the most cruel consequence of the media coverage and the attack on protesters to the socialized health care program will be that some of those exact individuals, part of the “greatest generation” have been dismissed as Nazi’s and “brown shirts”, the exact people they ACTUALLY fought against to keep our freedoms.
