Overexposed & Overhyped: Too Much Obama in Prime-Time

Nope, it wasn’t your imagination… we HAVE been in Obama “Overkill-Overdrive-Overexposure-Overhype” mode since Inauguration Day. Obama 24/7…

He’s the Paris Hilton of 2009.

Yeah, I’m sick of seeing BHO all the time on the telly, too. And hey, what HAS Paris been up to lately? Haven’t seen her since… the TV teaming of POTUS and TOTUS. I kinda miss her… any new fragrances or books from the peroxide heiress?

From An Angeleno’s View of the World:

Maybe the President should stop putting his mug all over television and just lead. Mark Knowler of CBS News, says that President Obama has now delivered well over 200 televised speeches since January 20th, 2009.

That may partially explain why Pres. Obama is doing so poorly in staffing White House positions. TOTUS sessions take time, after all.

From USA Today:

A 78-year-old Iowa woman is so tired of seeing President Obama on TV that she is selling her TV sets, the Daily Times Herald in Carroll reports.

Deloris Nissen of Carroll claims in a $5.50 classified ad she placed in the paper that she is selling two TVs because she is tired of seeing “Obama on every channel and station.”

The retired nurses’ aide told the newspaper she could accept seeing Obama on TV from time to time, but that she believes he is overexposed.

“I thought, my gosh, does he ever stay at the White House?” said Nissen, who added that she changes the channel whenever Obama appears. “I have the remote real handy. I have the batteries. I’m ready for him.”

Nissen, who said she voted for GOP candidate Sen. John McCain in November, told the Daily Times Herald she is not worried about criticism. “I’m an old lady, and I don’t care,” she said.

This overexposure and people’s reaction to it has even has been coined in the online Urban Dictionary, I kid you not. Just look under “Obama-Sick”.

When it’s good, it’s got to be repeated (if only to jerk Democrats’ chain). Video Encore: Has anyone forgotten the campaign ad John McCain ran against Obama back last July?

Remember how McCain was attacked and vilified by the media for comparing Obama to celebrities Britney Spears and Paris Hilton and for loving to be in the spotlight with adoring fans surrounding him?

McCain got it right about Obama last year, but no one (translation: mainstream media and Obama-bots) was listening. Too much hope and change rhetoric stunted people’s cognitive reasoning.

Watch the video and groan.
