Knowledge is power. Knowing how a number of our Republican congressmen are fighting for Americans on the ObamaCare issue is important to know, nearly comforting. They aren’t all weasels in Washington. Many are good, patriotic people who aren’t motivated by money, but by civic duty and devotion to serving the American people. Motivated by American free-market ideals and constitutional provisions, by logical, proven conservative values. Many have now actually READ the bill, and they are shocked and outraged by what they are finding in it.
Arm yourself with knowledge and facts, and you’ll be better prepared to defend our rights as Americans and help defeat this horrific health bill.
Hearing the clarity of their objections and their outrage in the two videos below will help you better explain to friends and family, those who may be clueless about government-run health care, exactly what ObamaCare will do to every single American… how our lives will be micro-managed by the government. How it will, without question, destroy the health care system we now have and replace it with one with oppressive government mandates, glaring holes, gross inadequacies, rationing, and unsustainable costs. Additionally, I want them to specifically include that free health care will NOT be provided to illegal aliens. That precise, specific language is missing from the document, and it is suspicious as to why it is not included (La Raza, anyone?). No straight answer has been given on that by lead Democrat bill authors.
As I’ve said many times prior, just look at the government-run health care for Native Americans we’ve had in place for seven decades. You tell me how in the friggin’ Sam Hill our current administration, led by Barack H. Obama, the charming socialist liar who is cutting shady deals with Big Pharma, will not make a royal mess out of it like they have of a number of simpler projects these past few months. For Native Americans, more than SEVENTY YEARS have gone by for government to correct it… it’s still a disaster (all in the news this week, see links below). Health care is too important to be treated so cavalierly. Look at the government-run health care disaster unfolding this week in the UK and how France’s system is having major problems. Canada, with its failed health care system, is analyzing our current system and will be imitating much of it, from what I’ve read in preliminary reports.
And I don’t care diddly squat that it was a cherished, long-time pet project of Sen. Ted Kennedy’s. Face it, Democrats, he’s gone. Rest in peace, God be with him, and all that good stuff.
However, Kennedy’s predicted death this week, no surprise to anyone, is being used as a manipulative, shameless, desperate guilt trip by Nancy Pelosi, MSM liberals, and anyone else with a heartbeat in Democrat leadership positions to ram this travesty down our throats.
Here’s a headline today that got my blood boiling: FOX News: ABC, NBC Won’t Air Ad Critical of Obama’s Health Care Plan. ABC = All Barack Channel; NBC = National Barack Channel. Leftist cowards. Some wry, snarky follow-up at The Daley Gator on that.
We all must say it over and over: “NO, NO, NO.”

Stop telling people you know something about the UK Health care system. You know absolutely nothing about it. Have you ever been to England? Your arguments and little movies clips about both crime and health care are completely distorted.
You’re pretty upset, so telling you that I get my UK data from UK news sources would probably make your head explode. Instead of railing on me, please write to the editors of Telegraph.uk.co and let them know that their medical editor is ignorant. This is where I usually pull all my UK information. If not Telegraph, then Mail.co.uk or other smaller UK newspaper sites. I usually cite my sources. As I did in the full-length post earlier today on UK health care, which you obviously didn’t read, or are choosing to be an obtuse statist:

One million NHS patients have been the victims of appalling care in hospitals across Britain, according to a major report released today.
I’ve posted other news items on UK health care, using UK news sources. If you feel that Telegraph or Mail Online are in error, direct me to the UK publications that you believe are reputable. You obviously skipped the post earlier today about the UK health care scandal about the failing health care system that I posted, via Telegraph, or the quotes in previous posts from Daniel Hannan from Parliament. The only videos here are from the US Senate.
To clarify: In your pro-gun argument, you argued that the gun ban in England caused the crime rate to go up. But there was no handgun ban in England.
HANDGUNS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ILLEGAL IN ENGLAND. The ban was on ILLEGAL weapons. There was an amnesty on illegal weapons.
In support of guns, you showed a movie of English people protesting hunting. PEOPLE DO NOT HUNT WITH GUNS IN ENGLAND because THEY ARE ILLEGAL. They hunt foxes with dogs on horseback for sport. This is what they were protesting.
Please get your facts straight about England before you use English health care as an example in your arguments.
You’re off topic here, and you’ve been a silly pest about this gun position before. But for the sake of helping you learn to more carefully post your opposition, I never wrote or argued specifically about gun bans in England. I posted three videos that are on the gun topic (UK, Australia and Canada), and the one you’re upset with is one of them. I, though, never presented any argument of depth about that particular video (or the others); I made these public videos available for view, comparison, and contemplation on the US Constitution’s 2nd Amendment being in jeopardy. And that our country would be on the same sorry path if our 2nd Amendment rights were abolished. I emphatically believe this.
You don’t have to agree with it, but this is your only warning to A) stay on topic for the post, and B) be more civil. One more strike, adios.

Why are you not holding up France’s SOCIALIST health care system as an example of what could happen to America? France has the best health care system in the world and illegal aliens don’t get it for free. (Citizens must show their social security card to get treatment.) So, they have the charity Medicines Sans Frontieres, who regularly treat uninsured Americans.
Or is that too much of a success story for your purposes?

You’re being very disingenuous. Are you deliberating ignoring the French health care piece? I do use BBC as a source, although not often.
In England we call the Telegraph, the “Torygraph”. It’s the newspaper the Queen reads, and she doesn’t care what the proles think. The Daily Mail is also a right -wing newspaper like a paper version of the NY Post: a scandal-sheet that regularly prints lies to outrage conservatives, who like to exist in a perpetual state of outrage.
So you are getting seriously biased information from England.
To get an unbiased view, you should also read the Guardian, the Observer and the BBC.co.uk.
The BBC tries very hard to be unbiased and has LOADS of pertinent information on the NHS. You should read it if you care to know the truth of the matter.

In all fairness to NUrbanski, he/she could be of British descent or background but typed it out badly making it sound like he or she is in England. Or not, he or she could be a lying son of a gun caught redhanded.
But you’re right – the rules were definitely broken about abusive posting. I’m frankly surprised you were so patient and presenting facts and information for so long – like you have nothing better to do. but NUrbanski went nuts on ridiculous off topic things (the fox hunting thing was weird) and ignored the facts you provided. I am reading Mark Levin’s book and this is a common attack method of liberals. If they attack you and you prove them wrong with authoritative evidence or reports, they won’t ever say “hey, that’s a good point” or acknowledge your information. instead they change the topic fast to deflect and confuse the issue, trying to keep you off guard. Most blog webmasters would never have posted that stuff so good for you for doing it and sticking to your conservative principles and documented information.
I’m a moderate & I like differences of opinions on blogs, but that person was really getting annoying. Just wanted to keep arguing – just like a statist. lol – And more evidence is coming abou t France’s health care having major problems. And you’re right – there are more new stories being released about the growing problems of France’s health care system. Just because Michael Moore, with his Hollywood-liberal, socialist agenda, said it was a model system doesn’t make it true.
I was searching for information on the UK healthcare system and came across this blog. I am absolutely delighted to see a common sense approach to fact finding against the current U.S. regime (government).
