Who at Senate.Gov Is Reading This Blog?

Occasionally, I examine my tracking software to see who in “real time” is on this blog and what they are reading. I do this to get a better feel for which topics are the most popular and are drawing the most traffic. I also love seeing visitors from other countries.
Imagine my surprise when I saw THIS entry on the Frugal Café Blog Zone logs this morning (screen capture below, text in question is circled in red):
And it was this post about “green czar” Van Jones that I wrote last month that was being read by someone at senate.gov.
Curious.
Because of the time zone difference between Washington, DC and Arizona, this person was likely on his/her lunch break. And since Congress is still on recess, not many senators are currently in DC.
So, WHO was reading this blog post, and better still, WHY this particular post about Van Jones?
My imagination is going a trifle wild here.
Are there worried murmurings going on up on The Hill about the outrageous number of czars Pres. Obama has appointed? Did someone at senate.gov suddenly have questions or concerns about Van Jones because of an overheard conversation in the hall? Are there new “green garbage mandates,” or new global warming nonsense about to be forced upon the American public in the Waxman-Markey bill that bothered this person, so he/she decided to research Jones’ background? Was a Republican senator arming himself/herself with information about Jones? Was a Democrat senator cruising through my site and other conservative blogs to determine the level of public outrage? Is something new happening with Jones’ boycott thuggery against Glenn Beck? Am I being targeted by the government for “unfriendly” writings on the Internet?
I have no answers. Like I said, it’s curious…
