Great stuff here… comedian Tim Hawkins rocks in this well-written parody about the dismal condition of our nation’s economy and the heart-stoppingly huge price tag for socialized health care.

Talented, affable guy, Hawkins reminds me of comedic song-and-dance men during the Golden Age of Hollywood, like Donald O’Connor or Danny Kaye or Bob Hope.

The Sammy Davis Jr. ’70s hit “The Candy Man” is definitely getting some healthy 2009 mileage in the political satire/parody realm.
