Teetering POTUS See-Saw: Minus 13, Obama’s Lowest Approval to Date

Obama's presidential approval index hits greatest low to date at minus 13 - September 7, 2009
It’s a teetering see-saw these days. Pres. Barack Obama’s approval goes up a little, goes down a little more, up a teensy bit, down several points. As of today, his presidential approval index is the very lowest it has ever been at negative 13.
A week ago on August 31, it was at negative 11 and has dropped two full points since then.
Obama’s socialist rhetoric, czar scandal with Van Jones, his September 8 national speech to school kids, ObamaCare, global warming energy tax, White House power grabbing, freedom of speech jeopardy with “media diversity/Fairness Doctrine” actions… it’s starting to catch up with him and Americans are more disenchanted and angrier than ever before.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 28% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -13 (see trends). Sixty percent (60%) now believe the President is at least as ethical as most politicians.
Rasmussen’s Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern.
