Escalating Health Care Disapproval: Poll Shows 52% Disapprove of ObamaCare, Speaker Pelosi Doesn’t Care

It’s a bloody jungle out there… ObamaCare’s approval continues to nosedive into the chilly “Lake of Americans’ Regrets.”
Nancy Pelosi, take those fingers out of your ears, woman, and listen to what Americans are saying!
Nope. She’s got that wild buggy-eyed look, which means she’s fixated on ramming the socialized health care bill through, come heck or high water. And it just may destroy the Democrat party (so keep it up, Nan!).
Does Pelosi have such deranged delusions of grandeur that she’s oblivious to the mounting public disapproval of her, of Obama, of the government-run health care plan, of Democrats?
Or, does she realize all this but DOESN’T CARE… in her sleazy, schizoid fashion, is she stubbornly and arrogantly ignoring the rants and rumblings of those loathsome “un-American, Nazi” taxpaying dissenters across the nation?

Why has the Democratic Party become so arrogantly detached from ordinary Americans? Though they claim to speak for the poor and dispossessed, Democrats have increasingly become the party of an upper-middle-class professional elite, top-heavy with journalists, academics and lawyers (one reason for the hypocritical absence of tort reform in the healthcare bills). Weirdly, given their worship of highly individualistic, secularized self-actualization, such professionals are as a whole amazingly credulous these days about big-government solutions to every social problem. They see no danger in expanding government authority and intrusive, wasteful bureaucracy…

Obama disapproval on health care up to 52 percent

September 9, 2009WASHINGTON – Public disapproval of President Barack Obama’s handling of health care has jumped to 52 percent, according to an Associated Press-GfK poll released hours before he makes his case for overhaul in a prime-time address to Congress.
With his health revamp moving slowly and unemployment edging ever higher, Obama’s overall approval rating has also suffered a blow. The survey showed that 49 percent now disapprove of how he is handling his job as president, up from 42 percent who disapproved in July.
The grade people give Obama on health care also has worsened since July, when just 43 percent disapproved of his work on the issue.
The poll underscores how the president has struggled to win public support to reshape the nation’s $2.5 trillion health care system and to put the brakes on a deep recession.
Forty-nine percent say they oppose the health overhaul plans being considered by Congress, compared to just 34 percent who favor them.
People are about evenly split over what lawmakers should do now on health care: About four in 10 say they should keep trying to pass a bill this year while about the same number say they should start over again.
Significantly, though, only about two in 10 say the health care system should be left as is.
There is a clear public desire for a bipartisan approach on the issue. Eight in 10 say it’s important that any plan that passes Congress should have the support of both parties, while two-thirds want Obama and Democrats to try winning support from Republicans, who with few exceptions have opposed the Democratic drive.
Obama’s marks are also poor on the economy, with 52 percent saying they disapprove of how he’s handled that issue…

The Democrats hoped to use the August recess to build support for their sweeping overhaul of the American health-care system and to unify against GOP opposition to the effort. Instead, they wound up losing ground in public opinion, according to Gallup, and getting chased out of their districts by angry constituents. Fewer Americans are undecided at the end of five weeks of loud debate, and more of the previously undecided now oppose the bill than support it…

Tonight, Pres. Obama is giving a speech on healthcare reform to a joint session of Congress. Undoubtedly, it will be “historic,” at least to the nighttime staff at MSNBC. It probably is the first time that a president has delivered a major speech to children two days in a row.

Rush just reiterated a LOT of tax hikes embedded within this bill.
Rush has told us in the past that the “health care bill”, is nothing more than a Trojan Horse.
He also said that Obama submitted that any refunds back to the taxpayer would be invested in U.S. savings bonds, all for the people.
HUH ????
Now the government is taking the money that we lent them (with no interest!) and investing it in Savings Bonds that they can rob at will.
I sincerely hope that the intelligent, informed Americans start holding these a$$holes’ feet to the fire and make them writhe like a worm on a hook in 2010.
I may watch BHO tonight just to see how out of touch and condescending to the American People he is. Just how stupid he thinks WE are.
It took us a long time to get where we are politically.
With the informed populace, moderate or conservative, we’ll take our Country back.
