Wow, James… You’re Magnificent! ACORN’s Prostitution Scam Exposed by Filmmaker Who Takes No Guff from CNN

CNN, you’re a joke and a disgrace.
How IS your former Chicago tea party bully journalist, the nasty anti-conservative Susan Roesgen doing, by the way? Any embarrassing estrogen-driven, drooling Obama “swagga” observations from CNN’s news “professionals” lately?
From James O’Keefe’s latest post, at Big Government, holding back nothing in his strong response to CNN’s whitewashing of the ACORN operation:

So far CNN has only reported on the breaking story on blatant ACORN CORRUPTION from angles that attempt to extricate the government funded “community organizing” enterprise from the extreme crime we caught on videotape.
First CNN pushed the false ACORN line that “[t]his film crew tried to pull this sham at other offices and failed.”
To set that record straight please check the Washington D.C. tape we dropped today at BigGovernment.com, which is also being aired on your cable news competitor with curiously higher ratings.
Now that ACORN lied to you, Jonathan Klein, what are you going to do?
Here’s what I have noticed from your coverage: You brought in the damage control crowd to FRAME the story. Before even airing our damning Baltimore video. You know your audience would turn on ACORN if you showed them the evidence. So instead you put your competitors in journalism in the crosshairs instead of airing a blockbuster report making massive waves elsewhere.
You even trotted out shameless Clinton era apologist Joe Conason to challenge the ETHICS of our expose. Unreal.
What about the ethics of those at ACORN caught on tape trying to help create a brothel featuring illegal immigrant age range 13-15 from El Salvador?
What about the countless laws broken on tape from a group that stands to get billions from President Obama’s “stimulus” package?
Why don’t we wait to have the Columbia Journalism School debate on “journalistic ethics” after you do actual journalism.
When you air the raw ACORN footage that is now viral on the Internet, and being played on FOX NEWS and countless talk radio shows, then and only then — when America can see, hear and smell the stench we have exposed — will I subject myself to a CNN hit job.
As the really popular kids would say when I was in high school, “Right on, man… totally cool, dude!”
Let the fur start to fly. Gauntlet tossed.
And more importantly, let the plug be plunged into the gaping hole in the Obama pork barrel from which ACORN sucks its financial life from the American taxpayers. As well as the DOJ and IRS investigations into ACORN and its affiliates to start.
I’d like an in-depth audit of all loans granted by ACORN over the past ten years. I want to know how many OTHER child prostitution rings or other illegal businesses have been given out loans funded by American taxpayers by this left-wing extremist “community organization” group. ACORN claims to advocate poor people, even though neither O’Keefe nor his female companion in either ACORN sting-operation video were what I’d consider “poor.” What have we paid for besides pimping children? How many tax laws has ACORN broken?

UPDATE: SEPTEMBER 11, 2009 Too outrageous, but yes, it’s true: The Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office issued a statement tonight indicating that it may prosecute the Big Government undercover team that conducted one of its ACORN/prostitution stings in Baltimore. O’Keefe could face up to five years in jail for violating Maryland’s wiretap laws. No word on the Attorney’s Office prosecuting the ACORN people. Outrageous. Read more at Michelle Malkin’s blog.

UPDATE, September 14, 2009:
It’s been declared by law experts that James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles DID NOT break Maryland laws. The Attorney General of Baltimore and Attorney General of Maryland mistated the written law.
A Maryland state statute requires consent from all parties whenever a conversation is taped, according to the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press. Violations of the law are punishable by a maximum of five years in jail and a fine up to $10,000. But that statute does not apply to videotape recordings — only to phone calls or other electronic “communications,” legal expert Andrew Napolitano has stated — meaning the filmmaker is likely in the clear. It also has to do with the secretive INTERCEPTION and recording of a phone call, which O’Keefe clearly did not do. Many of the laws on the books apply to the activities of law enforcement officers and not private citizens.
You may have noticed that Maryland officials are now being silent about prosecuting O’Keefe and Giles. No wonder, since they were wrong.
