Buffy Summers was awesome, beautiful, tough… weekly kicking demons’ and vampires’ butts. She was a true vampire-slaying heroine, filled with fierce spirit, courage, heart, and a strong sense of honor. No matter how bloody the vampire battles became, she hung in there, striving week after week to save the world from unspeakable evils trying to escape the Hellmouth in Sunnydale. Striving to always do the right thing, no matter the danger.

Now we have Buffy Wicks, Deputy Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, who likes to be called “Buffy the Walmart Slayer.”

Wicks considers herself some kind of fictionally inspired “slayer” like TV’s Buffy, but she didn’t actually SLAY Walmart. Rather, Wicks reportedly harassed and bullied them into pulling advertising from the Glenn Beck Show as punishment for Beck’s opposition to Pres. Obama’s agenda, particularly on his anti-ObamaCare pontifications. So she should be nicknamed “Buffy the Glenn Beck Show Slayer,” but it sorely lacks the same resonance… the same delusional panache. So much for Democrats’ accuracy in nicknames…

So, instead of slaying vampires like TV Buffy, this self-proclaimed “Walmart Slayer” Buffy instead uses her prestigious appointed position, with a handsome salary and job-related perks paid by American taxpayers, to slay dissenters of the president. To silence conservatives. To spearhead boycotts (paid for by American taxpayers, including conservatives, by the way) against any businesses or talk show hosts who aren’t “on board” with ObamaCare or anything else the government wants to shove down American citizens’ throats. To support and possibly fund partisan agenda, AGAIN with taxpayers’ money.

And now, this Obama administration “Walmart Slayer” Buffy is in the thick of the NEA/White House/ACORN propaganda cover-up.

She’s no Buffy Summers, let me tell you.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer would never have betrayed her hallowed mission as a vampire slayer as Buffy Wicks has betrayed the trust of a majority of Americans and the sovereignty of her government position in our nation’s Capitol.

Where is the honor, Buffy Wicks?

Suborning NEA Funded Artists for Political Purposes

The White House has been caught on tape conspiring to use the National Endowment for the Arts to advance the Obama political agenda. The conference call involved Buffy Wicks, Deputy Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement.

According to BigGovernment.com, Buffy Wicks, known as “Buffy the Walmart Slayer” to her friends and allies, is the former political director of a group called Wakeupwalmart.com, financed with union money, that successfully harassed Walmart into pulling advertising from the Glenn Beck Show as punishment for Beck’s opposition to the Obama agenda. Buffy Wicks is also said to have ties to ACORN, the community organizing group now in serious trouble thanks to candid video recording of ACORN officials aiding and abetting crimes such as tax fraud and sex slave trafficking.

A partial transcript and audio from the conference call has been posted on BigHollywood.com. It shows Buffy Wicks, Yosi Sergant, then Communications Director of the National Endowment for the Arts, and members of a hand-picked, pro Obama arts group discussing how artists receiving NEA grants could produce art that would support the Obama agenda.

In this video, Buffy implores Americans to give of themselves to the community. If I had viewed this back in early January when it was initially produced, I would have simply thought how nice it was and promptly forgotten all about it. But now, in light of what is going on with NEA, ObamaCare propaganda, and Buffy’s thuggery background, I can’t help but view it with much more cynicism. Maybe it’s just me looking for trouble, but it seems that this PSA implies that until Pres. Obama hit the scene, Americans have been selfish and never give their time or skills to volunteer efforts. Without the president telling Americans what to do, nothing charitable would happen.

I’m sure that would be news to the millions of Americans who volunteer in thousands of capacities each and every day. And insulting.

They don’t need the government, with expensive websites and multiple ad campaigns, to tell them to help others. Most Americans JUST.DO.IT.

These philanthropic, charitable folks don’t need the likes of “Buffy The Walmart Slayer” to firmly prod them to “give back” to their community or their church. They’ve been doing it long before Buffy stepped into the White House administration, and they will continue to do so when she leaves the White House, as barely a smudgy footnote in what is appearing to be a major government cover-up.

After ‘Inappropriate’ NEA Conference Call, White House Pushes New Guidelines

An August 10, 2009 National Endowment for the Arts conference call in which artists were asked to help support President Obama’s agenda — a call that at least one good government group called “inappropriate” — has prompted the White House to issue new guidelines to prevent such a call from ever happening again.

In the call, Yossi Sergant, then the NEA’s communications director, seemed to encourage the listeners to create art to further the president’s goals by promoting the United We Serve campaign and create art specific to areas of health care, education and the environment…

“I would encourage you to pick something, whether it’s health care, education, the environment, you know, there’s four key areas that the corporation has identified as the areas of service,” Sergant said on the call.

Buffy Wicks, Deputy Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, was also on the call, and thanked the artists “for being on the call and just a deep deep appreciation for all the work you all put into the campaign for the two-plus years we all worked together.”

At another point, Michael Skolnick, political director for hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, said, “I’m hoping that through this group, and the goal of all this, and the goal of this phone call, is through this group we can create a stronger community amongst ourselves to get involved in things we’re passionate about as we did during the campaign. But to continue to get involved in those things, to support some of the president’s initiatives, but also to do things that we are passionate about and to push the president and push his administration.”

White House officials say they are enacting specific steps to make sure such a call never happens again.

…After listening to the transcript and the audio posted at the conservative website BigHollywood.Breitbart.com — secretly recorded by Los Angeles filmmaker Patrick Couriellech — Melanie Sloan, executive director of the good-government group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), told ABC News that the call was “disturbing.”

“Government agencies are not supposed to be engaged in political activities,” Sloan said. “Here, because they didn’t veer off into ‘This is about the election,’ where you’d get into violations of the Hatch Act, it’s not illegal. But it doesn’t look good — it looks terrible. It’s inappropriate.”

The Hatch Act restricts the political activity of executive branch employees of the federal government.

Said Sloan of the conference call: “It’s not what the NEA was created for, it’s not supposed to be helping the president’s agenda; that’s not the point.”

Burton added that the White House will be issuing a formal memo for White House staff “to that effect and will be doing training sessions and personal visits with staff here to make sure the message gets across.”

Sergant seemed to have some indication on the call that maybe he was coming close to the line of inappropriateness if not crossing it.

“This is just the beginning,” Sergant says on the call. “This is the first telephone call of a brand new conversation. We are just now learning how to really bring this community together to speak with the government. What that looks like legally. We’re still trying to figure out the laws of putting government websites of Facebook and the use of Twitter. This is all being sorted out. We are participating in history as it’s being made, so bear with us as we learn the language so that we can speak to each other safely. And we can really work together to move the needle to get stuff done.”
