This “Dear Leader” rap song goes beyond creepy and partisan in our public schools… some of the lyrics in the song were lifted from a favorite Christian children’s hymn, “Jesus Loves the Little Children.” In this adoration song about Obama, “Jesus” is replaced with “Obama” and “precious” is replaced with “equal.” Blasphemous and copyright infringing to boot. Christians already have their Messiah, thank you very much.
Again, this is creepy and cultist. And should not be acceptable in any of our public schools.

Were parents notified of this before the children were taught to praise Barack Hussein Obama? Were parents given a copy of the lyrics of this song in advance? Did the New Jersey school district approve teaching its children this partisan song?
Yes, Obama is our president (how in the heck could we ever forget that, what with his Paris-Hilton-media-whore-inspired TV appearances every single day?). But when did that mean that zealous adults were allowed to teach children unabashed partisan hero worship in our public schools? Not even for GW Bush, or my hero Ronald Reagan, would this surfeiting “all hail Dear Leader” song-fest be OK with me.
Will next week’s music fare include teaching the kids a bouncy, Broadway-show-tune medley about the sheer wonderfulness of Cuba’s Fidel Castro and Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez? Maybe something sultry/bluesy about that winsome rogue Josef Stalin…

It is crucial that the PARENTS in this country nip this movement in the bud.
It is crucial that the PARENTS in this country hold the administration of these school systems accountable for the education, (indoctrination) that these young, malleable minds are being exposed to on a daily basis.
This has got to stop, and the ones to stop it are the parents of these young people.
The voters (school levies) need to get their (school systems) attention by cutting off the money.
Give them an ultimatum folks, stop the propaganda, fire the people that promote it, and don’t stand down for your childrens’ sake.
After all, when we’re gone, it’s their country.

By the way, your list of criteria for which presidents would qualify is moronic. Which president has ever actually saved a life? Do you mean by giving some presidential order? If this was the only thing to be concerned with in this current statist administration, it wouldn’t be as much of an issue. You’ve obviously closed your eyes to all the other alarming proposals and activities going on in Congress and in our public schools. And as far as Obama “saving lives” with the Somali pirates incident, that’s just plain lame. Then, based on your observation, we should be singing to the heavens praises to GW Bush and Ronald Reagan for their roles in protecting millions of lives through out the world.
Sorry, I wouldn’t go for that either (as I’ve written before). Worshiping a political living human being in our public school system, teaching children to do so, is right in line with tyrannical regimes’ methods of indoctrination through out history, no matter WHO the person is. I would object to it being a Republican just as readily as a Democrat… would you?

I would equally decry public school children being taught to sing songs of worshiping Reagan or Bush, and I admire both those men. The ideology of conservatives or liberals is NOT the issue. Beyond the teaching of the songs is the zealous song-related activities conducted by many liberal, Obama-adoring public school teachers. We need to stop this before it goes further. You said for us to “get a life.” Actually, millions of Americans are attempting to preserve the lives we have when the Constitution is followed, when government doesn’t micromanage our lives, when socialism doesn’t try to usurp capitalism and the liberties and foundation set by our founding fathers. Kids remember catchy songs all their lives – kids TV shows like Sesame Street and Schoolhouse Rock and K-8 teachers employ this teaching with great success.
