Thanks for the info on the song… I never knew about it and while I have a problem with it, it is not of the same caliber of praising and worshiping Obama. It sounds like a community “thank you” song, as opposed to school kids being indoctrinated. I don’t know who these kids were – were they victims of Katrina? Not quite the same as a song all about Obama, since Bush is only mentioned one time and he isn’t being worshipped, but thanked. However, you’ve made a good point. Like I’ve said before, I have a problem with school kids being taught to worship a living political leader as though he were a deity – I have my own Messiah, as do my children. Songs are only a portion of the propaganda used with children, and it’s been a successful course of action for Communists and socialists for decades.

I don’t hate Obama. I’ve said that many times. I hate his socialist agenda, I hate that he doesn’t embrace America’s greatness, I hate that he does not uphold the Constitution. Wanting peace on earth is nice, but sitting back, hoping that it will happen when all around you is evidence of corruption and power-grabbing and not doing anything about it, is naive. My mom is a Democrat… she keeps saying “give Obama a chance.” Sorry – the evidence of what he wants to do to dismantle the principles of America is so vile to me and others, we can’t sit back and do nothing. Doing nothing, being silent is acceptance. We’re not filled with hate, but patriotism and fear that America will be turned into a socialist nation. Do some research… socialism does not work.

Lastly… the reason taxes have not yet gone up to the dire amounts predicted is because ObamaCare has not yet been passed (the Congressional Budget Organization and many of Obama’s economists have already said taxing only the very rich will not pay for the intentions of socialized health care), nor has Waxman-Markey been passed yet. Should either or both of these outrageously expensive programs be passed, trust me, kc – most of America WILL be taxed (although, they have already started renaming things from being a “tax” to a “fee” or a “penalty” to get around the nasty word “tax.”) It has been shown mathematically that there isn’t enough “rich” people to handle the multi-trillion-dollar price tag. And overall prices are predicted to jump drastically when/if the global warming tax goes into effect. Obama/Congress said they will only tax the rich businesses… but neglect to include that to absorb those huge increases, will pass them onto average consumers. So, a $100 a month electric bill will suddenly increase to $200 or $300. The cost of food, clothing, entertainment, household items will all go up because it requires energy to produce them. To the best of my knowledge, the “cut” in taxes worked out to only about an average of $13 a month, of which, next year, each person will be taxed on since it will be treated as “additional” income. So the decrease in taxes is pretty puny compared to the monstrous leap it will be if any of these socialist “spread the wealth” programs are passed.

Hey, just a quick comment. I want peace in the country and the world. What I see on all of these places is hate, hate, hate. I found this article from the Wall Street Journal. I don’t believe you have it on your list of liberal media, but maybe. It is form the 2006 Easter Egg Hunt at the White House, and Laura Bush was there. The lyrics to what the children sang are included. I never hear Bill O’Reilly say a word about it,and am wondering whether this discussion isn’t a bit one sided.

This is from the Wall Street Journal, 2006:
“At the annual White House Easter Egg Roll, children from the stricken Gulf Coast region serenaded First Lady Laura Bush with a song praising the beleaguered Federal Emergency Management Agency.

To the tune of Hey Look Me Over, about 100 young children from Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama sang:

I also keep reading about taxes. This group in Washington has cut taxes to all but the wealthiest 5% of AMericans, which means that 95% of us got a tax cut. I can’t see where any have been raised.

Obama’s egotism and arrogance will be his downfall, accelerated by the growing force that is the conservative values of the American People that are determined to take our country back from the fringe of a socialistic society.

like I wrote earlier in the other post on ‘Obama Messiah’ songs, this is an excellent post. Liberals are like little children. they want to close their eyes to what is happening, not realizing that the oppression of conservatives today will be the oppression of all Americans down the road. Just look at history in 1930s Europe and in China and in Russia. I know asking a liberal to do that is like asking a fish to ride a bike, but maybe just maybe a few of the smarter ones will start putting the pieces together and see the totalitarian pattern that has been developing since inaugueration day. Ignorance is bliss to them.
