I can imagine lawyers thinking, \Hey, what a good idea. Your honour, what my client did wasn't murder-murder. He shot the victim in the head, sure, but he wasn't thinking straight and he only ran away because he thought you were going to be too harsh on him.\ If Hollywood stars continue to line up in defence of Roman Polanski, no one will take movie stars seriously again on serious issues because it'll show their moral compasses are pointing the wrong way.
